I kinda agree with Terry on this one. The whole BOS thing has got people hyped, and while we might have "scene cuts" from one sister to the other in the issues, I believe Issue #0 will be somewhat of a continuous graphic narrative, infused with some BOS-ness.

Anyway, we are in June, so Issue #0 comes out this month, right? Not too far along.

I think it's due out at the end of the month around the 30th I think, I'm not 100% sure but I think that's when it's due. Maybe someone who is following the writers on Twitter could ask, I'm sure they know.

Well, we know two things about Issue #0:

1. It'll be a Book of Shadows type of thing;
2. It's supposed to be a sourcebook that'll help people unaccustomed to Charmed be able to follow the comics.

So if it's a recap of past storylines and past BoS pages, I don't see why they'd advertise is all that much, because obviously fans like us already know it all (or in part) and they can't be sure we'd be drawn by such a recap so they give us something new (i.e a preview of the real plot).

And yeah, it's supposed to come out on the 30th. But why does Amazon say it's meant to be released in December?

Is this what you're talking about? I think that is the graphic novel/paper back collection of the first six(?) issues.

I think issue #0 will have profiles for the characters, a synopsis of the whole show and then what happened after the finale until the beggining of the comics. In the end there will be 2-3 BOS paiges and other ads. Thats what i think issue #0 will be like.

I'm really interested to see how they continue the Charmed story but I hope they don't botch it up like they did with the Buffy comics.

Quite possibly since I'm sure they'll be fishing for new fans to be interested in the comic so the first issue would have a lot of backstory and keep everyone upto date on what has happened on Charmed prior to the comics.

What I'm the most excited about is what they storyline is going to be now that The WB's 'budget cuts' have no effect on the show...or comics rather. I read somewhere that they were hoping to bring back fan favourites so I'm guessing Cole and Prue will be making appearances.

Look what David Seidman sent me on facebook after i asked him if he could give us a hint about Issue #4:
"Hey Kostas! The only thing I can say is that the Charmed Ones are facing off against something big and bad : )
But I can tell you that issue #0 went to print last week and it looks amazing!!"

EDIT: Then i asked him about issue #0 and the glow in pipers hands in issue #1 and he answered:

"Issue #0 will contain about 26 pages that resemble the Book of Shadows containing a bit of the history of the show as well as some spells and character profiles.

As for issue #1... the glow in Piper's hands is a way to show her powers. Since the characters on the cover cannot move like they do on tv, it is important to have some visual to let the viewer know what is going on. Just having her stand there with no glow around her hands would look kinda weird : )"

But that contradicts to what raven gregory told me about the glow. He told me that they will use the inviroment....

He said :Charmed #0 will be debuting this weekend at Wizard World Philly!
I found out that this event takes place from 11-13 June. So it debuts tommorow!

Those are amazing. And I'm glad Paige has got red hair, always loved her all gingery. As to why they gave her red hair, it's probably because around that time, Rose McGowan was a redhead, or you know... they thought it looks better too.

I think it was to give each sister a distinct look; Piper has straight dark brown hair, Phoebe light wavy hair, Paige red hair.

As for the previews, I think they are brilliant. If you scroll over them, you can see which pages they are. We have pages 1, 5, 6 & 7, which gives us better insight on how it'll be structured. First, a general introduction of the main characters and then a breifing on a few of the magical species. (Seeing as how it starts off with Witches.) I also hope new information will be given, like a complete family tree or something.

I cannot wait.

Nope. Once the issue hits the stands, Shannen's and Julian's lawyers will be suing Zenescope and the artists, and the comic will cease to exist.

But this isn't the Book of Shadows, it's done in that style, but it's not the actual Book, since none of the information here would need to be in the Book.

Exactly. Ours. For us; the readers, both old and new. It's meant to inform us about the history of the show, whether we know it or not. That's why.

Looking back, I'd have liked them to draw both Prue and Cole instead of the pictures. They probably didn't have the character designs ready then.

It's supposed to be a "Book of Shadows" as in a guide. It's not a replica.

I think they're allowed to use those pictures because they are promotional pictures from Charmed, not?

Using their pictures without permission would get Zenescope in trouble just as much as pencilling them.
