Charmed Comic coming in summer 2010

Hey look at that. Its another advertisement picture right? There was a text i cant translate next to it . Can somebody translate? (although i dont think it says something new but anyways)

There great pictures and information about the Charmed ones and some of the other characters.

I also liked the page where it was remembering Prue and then Cole at the bottem of the page. Like some of you say though I don't know if Shannen and Julian agreed to have their pictures used in it.

No I carn't translate the message eirther. I am not sure why they have changed Paige's hair to red when it's a different colour on the covers. Maybe they thought the change would look better.

I think that's about right. Maybe someone who's better at italian then me can correct me.

About those pictures. They probably do have the rights to use their pictures, otherwise they wouldn't and CBS wouldn't allow them either then.

Now that i think about it , hasnt Shannen Doherty still some percent of Charmed? So maybe they asked her permission to make the comics from the beggining??

As for Julian & Shannen's images being used in the comics, I don't think there will be any lawsuits. As you all could see in that preview, a Promotional picture from season 2 was used for Prue & a season 4 picture of Cole. Those Images belong to the creators of Charmed since those pictures were taken for the show, so they are licensed under the show. Same deal with the images used in the Charmed Magazine. The actors have no say over those images unless brand new images are drawn of them, then permission must be granted by the actors.

I think this is about right, I think they'd have to go to CBS and/or Paramount for the images because they are images for the show so they likely belong to them.

However, this discussion as whole is pretty redundant as they have obviously been allowed to use a picture of Shannen. While we don't know if they are allowed the draw her yet or not, we'll have to wait and see.

The brain is a vital organ, and I suggest you switch yours off standby and actually think thrice before you post as to whether or not the content you are posting contains: new material, an intelligent opinion, (once again) intelligent speculation, or a review of read/watched content.

Most of the time you either post useless crap, or begin a discussion that is completely tangential to the topic at hand, or an issue that can't really be answered by any of us here upto a limit, which is usually a single reply about the matter.

Nope, I'm not going to take this any furthur. I have risen above, and I actually turn a blind eye to Nerf's "be nice" comments. This isn't the Hundred Acre Wood, and God-like people who believe it is should not be worshipped. I am civil to most, and they do know why I am. Period.

Are they going back there? I thought that issue was resolved ages ago. The CO are way beyond that, so things probably get pretty tough for them to resort to such behavior once again.

I'm thinking they're probably going to try and get those dead innocents back because they feel it was unjust. If the tone of the comic dealing with this arc is going to be anything like "Death Becomes Them", I'm game!

Some times a cover is just a cover and isn't invocative of what occurs within the issue.
That means the forest may mean nothing for the issues storyline

It seems Temporaldeath has his nerves all the time. This is a forum, people are supposed to come to forums, talk, share ideas, and HAVE FUN. I didnt break any rules or something I just posted a pic from Comic-Con Philly where in the background was a Charmed comics banner. If that is soooo wrong report it to the mayor.

You say I always talk random and post random things but it is you that post rude stuff most of the time with no Charmed news and might I remind you that it was I that I found the e-bay picture that Dave Hoover had made with Paige in Magic School and I have found many other things, not to mention how much info I have collected from the creative team like what is the glow in Piper's hands, if whether the guest artists will make more covers and many a lot more.

Primal/old magic has always fascinated me. Ruins, latin, things like that is really interesting. I really hope/d the comics would deal with it in some way. My hopes rose a little for the second issue cover, with the sisters being one with nature and all that jazz.

Guys i think i found a new charmed preview.Not sure if its really Charmed so i need your opinion. This is a photo i found in a site and the description says:
Here is Dave Hoover. He taught me conceptual storyboarding almost 4 years ago at school. At the time he built up a serious resume with Marvel, DC, and other leading publishing companies. He showed me a few previews that he is doing for an upcoming Charmed comic for Zenescope which is a huge deal.

Is this what you're talking about? I think that is the graphic novel/paper back collection of the first six(?) issues.

Quoting it for you if you missed it. If that is what you're talking about Thomas, I suggest reading the previous few pages on the difference between a graphic novel and issues. Graphic novels are usually marketted as "volumes", if that hasn't been mentioned before. So this is the first graphic novel.

Hey i found a charmed cover that is differently coloured and a second one with the logos

cover 1:

The likeness for Piper and Paige is way better than the previous colouring but Phoebe's likeness is way off
