Okay so season 4 ended on one hell (excuse the pun) of a cliffhanger with Lucifer rising thanks to Ruby's betrayal. What do you all think lies in the future for the Brothers Winchester as they have to deal with Sam's demon blood issues & the evil of all evil rising out of hell. Should be one heck of a season!

I'm sure it will be. When I saw Lucifer Rising I was so shocked. I really hope that Lucifer stays as the Big Bad for the whole season and not just for one episode. I also really hope that, if he does get defeated, he'll go down in a big battle not like in Smallville. I also think Ruby'll play a big part in this season, but I really hope she gets a new body and maybe, now that she's got Sam to do what she wanted, she'll go back to her old bitchie ways. I can't wait!

I can't wait to see the new season, and really do hope that Lucifer is the big bad. I'm intrigued in how its going to end, since this is the last season - from what I've heard anyway.
As for Ruby, I thought she was officially dead now - the whole thing with the knife was like the Colt, demons were dead and buried - I kinda hope she stays dead, they've used her up now. She did what she was written in to do, I did like the twist at the end with her being evil all along and only Lilith knowing about it.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Castiel is up to now and what his punishment was since he helped Dean get to Sam. I want to know if he's going to be back to help the brothers, I hope he will be, I thought he was an awesome addition to the series.
I'm hoping a few more questions will be answered that were raised in the first couple of seasons, like why were Dean's eyes bleeding in the Bloody Mary scene? Are they going to go into that demon virus again, what was really the point in that episode anyway? There's so much more but I just can't think of it off the top of my head.
Anyway, definitely can't wait!

Lucifer Rising was a great episode, at the end I was so into the story that when they ended I was like NOOOOO!!! let him rise now! Anyway, I hope that Lucifer will be the big bad for the whole season, it would be so bad if he only lasted a few episodes or even one. Ruby would be good to have back as well as long as they cast someone else! I loved the blond Ruby more, she could act. Like Lexi said, I hope that a few more questions will be answered and I hope the episodes will be better too, I disliked most of the season 4 episodes.

Lucifer IS going to be a big bad all season, not just a couple of episodes. I'm pretty sure atleast. Ruby is, infact, dead. Of course Castiel is going to play a big part this season. Misha was raised to series regular, same as Jensen and Jared. What demon virus? You mean the demon-blood detox? The point of that was to show how addicting it was, and how bad the withdrawals would be.
Just thought I clear up those things.

I'm just glad to hear that one of my favourite characters - Jo Harvelle - is returning. I think I was one of the few people who liked her character, and I'm interested to see how she interacts with the boys. Also confirmed as returning is Sam's ex Jessica, Meg and Anna. With all those characters in the mix, it should be one heck of a season

I must have missed that part. With that out of the way, I think it's a shame Ruby's gone, she was what got me hooked on SPN. The first SPN glimpse I got was of Ruby, when I saw the ending of 3x01. Then I watched the pilot and went on to season 2 and season 3. So, you can see why I'm so attatched to her. I'll get over it.

Glenn, you didn't like season 4? It's actually one of my favourites now.
In all honesty, I'm glad Ruby's done with. I loved Katie Cassidy as Ruby but never warmed up to Genevieve so, in my books, she won't be missed.
I'm expecting some drawbacks with Sam as we saw how he became when he was deprived of the demon blood. To detox him is going to be one hell of a chore for Bobby & Dean while trying to deal with Lucifer's rising.
Onto Lucifer. Even before I read the spoilers I knew Kripke wasn't going to make him something predictable, like all evil & in a killing mood. I can see him being a calm being with a dark demeanor. He was an angel once upon a time so it should be interesting to see where the writers will take him.
As for Dean, since we pretty much had him occupied with the Angels last season I can honestly only see him trying to help Castiel, (thrilled to have him back *squeel*) since he betrayed all he believed in. I'm also excited to see the return of Anna. Totally loved her.
As for the return of Meg, should be interesting, as well as having Jo come back. I'd love to know the reason behind that. So much to look forward to this season! I can't wait. ;D

Yay! Jo's coming back. I loved her character and was really annoyed when they took her out because I could see such potential in her. Bringing Meg back...I'm intrigued into how they'll do that since wasn't that another demon that was killed by the Colt? Hmm...
I actually mean the demon virus in season 2, I can't remember the episode name but they were all in a deserted town and anyone that came into contact with some virus turned into angry people who just attacked everyone and infected everybody else. Sam was infected with the virus but nothing happened to him and it may have had something to do with the demon blood in him but nothing about that was explained.

Nope, she wasn't. She was exorcised, and after the vessel was had broken bones and stuff. So they probably could find a way to bring her back.
Jo was a nice addition to the show, but I'm not dying to see her again, especially as a regular. She won't be a regular will she?

She won't be a regular, she's only gonna be in a couple of episodes.
Meg will be played by a different actress.

Anna and Castiel are coming back!? I really liked them both, so that's good.
Personally, when the end of the episode came, my reaction was: "No! It can't be over! Stupid show creators, how can you end a season like that?!" The next day, I was respecting them for the amazingly horrible (to us fans) cliffhanger that they put up.
I'm glad that the angels are coming back though - they brought in a whole new level when they brough the other side into the whole fight. Plus, Anna's been one of the only girls in the entire series that I actually liked. Couldn't stand Bela, was on the fence with Jo, and Ruby... well, I was on the fence with her most of the time. I liked her when she was BlondRuby, but BrunetteRuby... well, I think she got better, at least, as the season went on.
I honestly don't think that Ruby's going to come back. As some other people pointed out here (not sure who, sorry to whoever you are!), she was killed by the Dagger. But then again, we basically know next to nothing about that dagger, so who knows what'll happen.
But Jo... I wonder what they're going to do with her. And Jessica!? Wonder how they're going to pull that off...
Well, we'll find out soon.

Is anyone watching this brilliant show? I still can't believe the way the episode ended. Granted, I would have preffered it to end just as Adam got enveloped in light, and not with the conversation between the two brothers. Even if they did declare war! (Kinda)
But yeah, the finale is drawing near and I can't wait to see what happens to all of the characters. Except Bobby, I don't give a damn what happens to him. But I'm really curious about Adam and what will happen to Dean. And where Castiel disappeared to. I doubt he died as angels never die when being struck by that light, but I wonder where he got blasted to.
Also, I hate all the Dean/Sam Dean/Cas things they're incorporating into the show (for example "Cas, blow me!" "Last time someone looked at me like that, I got laid." and "Sam and dean are irrationally erotically co-dependent on eachother (or something like that) ". It's not even subtle or funny anymore especially when the finale is so close. I wonder how it'll end and how they'll pick it up for season 6.

The last episode was good, I was so sure that Dean was going to give in say yes, but I'm so glad he didn't. I would have liked it to end with Adam being taken by the light, that would have been the perfect cliffy for next week's episode. One thing I am a little annoyed at is the fact that its going to continue for a sixth season. I remember reading ages ago that it was justgoing to be a five season thing and as I kept watching I could see it , and stilll see it, being a five season thing. The writers had better pull something good off for a sixth season.

Yeah, I hope Castiel sticks around though. I've become fond of his character, especially after the last episode, maybe season 6 will feature Adam too? That'd actually be quite cool.
Season 6 won't be run by Kripke, which is kind of disappointing, but I'm sure that someone could do the show justice and create another great season to follow this one... Or not.

It won't be RUN by Kripke, but he's still staying on as Executive Producer, or creative consultant, or something. I can't remember. Ha. I just know he will be involved.

Okay, I hated how none of my questions were answered. No Castiel (or mention of Castiel) or Adam to been seen. However, the plot was good, the gore was still present but I'm not sure if introducing a huge storyline at the end of the season is a good idea, unless they are going to use it in season 6 and have Sam and Dean encounter various gods and explore more religions. Which, in my opinion, is a great idea and would even make me like season 6.

I like Kali very much, and I'm glad she's not killed... yet, who knows.

One thing I found strange was how Lucifer was so easily able to kill all of the gods, surely they could stand up to him, at least even for a few minutes?!
R.I.P Gabriel/the Trickster. You will be missed.
And I'm glad that Kali survived as well, I liked her attitude and her awesome fire power (though it didn't do any good). I hope she returns in the future.
