Well, I noticed that we all log on, then log off, so why not just talk to one another here? As the board said, talk about anything, so lets talk about anything!
How are you all?

Hey, everyone, and welcome xangelax! Well, I would post more but it seems like every time I want to read something I have basketball in 5 minutes. Ugh, its so frustrating and I can't wait till it's over. 12 straight weeks of practices and games everyday is a bit much, even for me. Finally, a day off though so hopefully I can get caught up on a few things. I'm also looking forward to when the next contest rolls around. Hopefully basketball will be done so that I can actively participate in it. Whatever it is. xangelax, I also really enjoy 'King Wyatt' as well. Hopefully it will be returning soon.

Hello xangelax, and welcome to Shadow Tales!
I am now a new fan of Alt S2, just began reading it again, and have read many others stories as well, so I am a big fan of all. lol. I like King Wyatt, Special (now concluded by Temporal Death), Matriarch, Witchlighter, Alt S2, Virtual S9, Angel: Life After Death, and many others, I read when I get the chance, and review as well. So I go all around. There are many talented writers here, so I enjoy a lot of what people post.
I can't wait for the contest either. I was in Writer's Trial, and due to not enough time, I had to drop out. It was a shame, and I was proud of myself for making it past the first trial. Oh well, maybe I will do better next time. lol.
Hope all are enjoying themselves!

Ah, it's about time a thread like this showed up on here! How is everyone? I'm just enjoying (I'll use the term lightly) a very boring Saturday afternoon. I really wish there was something to do, but it's way too cold to go outside. I can't wait for spring! Anyways, I'm going to be having a lot of free time to be bored, so I better use my time well, or something like that...

That's cool melissa. I am having fun just writing, it is a lot of fun, and I forgot how much I liked doing it. It think we should try to read more, I am enjoying everyone's stories here, and since my finals are over, I have some free time to do some stuff, like write and read. Lots of fun . So, anything else anyone wanna just say out there or talk about?

Today is a much more interesting day for me, thankfully. It was my friend's birthday this week, but I'm celebrating it with her today. We're just going to hang out at her place. It's better than my nothing day yesterday! Only have to go into school Monday, then I have four days off. I really don't know what I'm going to do then! I agree that it's fun to read and write. But, this time of year, everyone is so busy. I like the summer because school doesn't tie anyone down and the boards become summer fun.

What have I been doing today? Packing, packing, packing, oh & did I mention packing? Moving is so stressful & it takes up so much of my time. I really wanted to spend this weekend writing since I had spent most of the week helping my mom out but no such luck. URG!!!!!! I can't even open a word document tomorrow as we have tons of errands to run & then when I'm hope I have to sort out suitcases of old clothes that I want to give to the needy. This better be our final move! How's everyone else been doing this weekend?

Hey, all, and greeting from the bottom of the ocean... alright, not the ocean... rather the middle of Pennsylvania... but it's close enough, right? I'm currently enjoying free use of the computer, since my brother's gone, my parents are gone, and my dog's playing around in the bedroom. Oh, how I love these moments... few and far between, but I do adore them. Oh, and good luck with the move, Rory. How's everyone else doing with their writings? Is it good, or is anyone else stuck in a stupid rut with their writing... like me.

Woo! This thread is beginning to come alive! haha. Well, melissa, that's great, it is always better to have something to do than nothing to do lol. Matriarch, I'm sorry that moving is so hard...I hate it too, and I have only moved like 4 times in my life. lol. I feel bad for the people who move yearly, that really sucks. And to Fishy, my writing is doing pretty well, I am working on the First Born story, and the others that are tied to First Born as an ultimate story, and I am also working on an Alternate Season. So, I am working on a lot, but having fun while doing it. . How about everyone else? What pieces are you working on?

I am working on nothing at the moment! I gave up my Charmed writing about a year ago. No inspiration whatsoever once people started leaving. For now, I enjoy my poetry, and random stories. Right now, I have officially started my six days off of school. I'm so happy, though, because the semester is over and when I return I will be enjoying two new classes (hopefully...). Anyways, over my vacation, my friends and I plan on hanging out. Guitar Hero, randomness, all that jazz. It's so damn cold out, though, so definitely no fun out in the snow.

Happy for you, Vamp, and I definetly envy you, Melissa . At least someone's writing is going well. Strangely enough, it's only my Charmed writing that's going badly. I'm currently planning another story, Crucible, and the planning for that story is going even better than Hex. Go figure, considering that Hex is going to be like twenty times smaller than Crucible. Go figure, right? Oh, btw, Vamp, I'm actually planning on reading First Born this weekend. Me is a total next generation reader/writer for anything and everything, so I'll definetly be checking it out. LOL, Melissa, now I envy you even more. We don't get any more days off in my school until... well, either until the end of February or Easter Break... neither of which are close enough, in my opinion.

Hey, just seen this thread. Nice thought really.
Well, my writing is just getting back onto a roll. I'm currently doing two spin offs for Charmed. I got a bit of a writers block on both of them during exam period the last few weeks but now that that is all over, I'm back on them and am past where I was struggling.
I've got a supernatural-Charmed crossover story in the works, a sequel to another one that I wrote a while ago in FF.net. Just need to inspiration to start it, I'm looking at once I've finished writing the episodes for my spin offs.
As for everything else, final year of my degree has hit me completely and I've just realised now about how much work I have to do and how little time I have to do it. Not fun at all! But my project that I'm working on is a website for a cricket club - boring to some people but I'm looking forward to getting into it all - and then I get to program computer games for one of my modules, which I can't wait for.
As for reading fics, I'm trying to find time to get through my list. I have a document on my computer with the name of fics and the authors so I can find them when I have some time to get through them. I just hate real life some times!

Haha, sorry guys! Anyways, it's only the high schoolers that don't have exams that get the week off. So, lucky me! The only thing that ticked me off was that we used our last snow day the other day, when really only the little kids had to go to school! If only the snow storm had held off another week. Speaking of the snow we got, now everything is all snowy again. Not my cup of tea. So, what are everyone's plans for the weekend?

Well, my plans are to do hw, and then work on some writing. I am loving it so much! It is a lot of fun for me now, and I feel like I just need to keep working on it, which is giving me more time for you guys to see the work I try to show you all.
I can't wait for more stuff from the series' here at Shadow Tales, I need to continue reading Alt S2, and I just finished reviewing the new Witchlighter Chapter. I hope they review some of my stuff soon, for I really miss their advice...lol.

Hmm... plans for the weekend - homework, homework, and more homework, thanks to my missing Friday! I've been feeling bad all week, and then it finally boiled over Friday morning - which was good, considering we had a field trip that day (which included a trip to Wendy's, where I would get to eat with a bunch of friends I haven't gotten a chance to talk to in a long while) but when we got to school, the teacher was sick, and it was canceled! Which actually turned out to be a blessing, because about an hour after I found out the trip was cancelled, I was throwing up in the nurse's office, waiting for my dad to pick me up. :/ Odd, isn't it? Because, seriously, I was feeling great on Friday when I woke up... and I didn't even make it past first period at school. On a sidenote, does anyone notice how HORRIBLE the shows on TV are during the mornings/afternoons? Even though I got to watch Psych (which I love), the rest of the programs that were on pretty much sucked. So, I was bored, sick, and got tons of homework. Alright, away from my rant and onto the weekend... sorry to dump that, LOL, just needed to rant for a second about the unfairness of life... Since the stupid Super Bowl's on this weekend, it gives me a good chance on computer, so I'll be working a lot on my writing. Generation Hex, mostly, but a HUGE burst of inspiration on my part makes me want to go after other genres... which is why I'm planning on writing Smallville, Charmed, Supernatural, and KotOR: TSL while my dad and brother watch the game. I guess football's good for something, then! I know what you mean, Melissa, about the snow - we got a blizzard up here and a snow day, and the snow was completely frozen solid by the time we got to school the next day. On the bright side, it created a hilarious scene when my brother slipped and fell on his butt... twice. So, how's everyone else doing?

This better be our final move! How's everyone else been doing this weekend? I can relate! Even though I'm not packing...technically...yet. I'm moving to Paris on Friday (if not earlier)...and there's this whole bunch of administrative stuff I gotta do, considering I'm changing country... Though I was only researching the steps I had to take, now I actually have to take them... so wish me luck Of course, writing and reading (except for ambassadorial websites and such) are scarce but let's hope that once I'm settled and have gotten myself a job, I'll be able to return to both And if by then, a contest has opened, I'd be glad to enter, 'cause my writing skills have been left uncared for for too long and they need some refreshing Good luck every one

Moving! Terence, that's great! (Aside from the whole "moving" moving aspect of it) And, guess what, Terence? Now I can truly call you a French fry! Mwhahaha... Anyways, the winter is becoming bleak and boring. Of course, the first time it started getting cold (back in October) I was already dreading winter. Must have spring! No more snow over here yet. We're actually kind of having a warm front. Almost 40 degrees... My weekend wasn't too bad. I slept over my friend's house. I ate so much and am still feeling sick. LoL! We played Guitar, the Wii, watched Charmed, painted our nails. Fun fun time! Now, I'm at my dad's house. I still have some homework to finish up, but I already tackled my main task during the week. It was a travel brochure for French class, and I am actually proud of the work I did. Aside, from that, I just have some Geometry to finish up. Tomorrow I go back to school with two new classes to hopefully keep me entertained.
