When a group of Dryads living in a local forest suddenly become ill, it is up to the Charmed Ones to discover the cause of their mystery illness before their condition worsens. Meanwhile, Phoebe struggles to come to terms with the death of an innocent.

210- Sidhe Draoi

-Ah, an old mistake. You said "notes" as opposed to "cash" or "money". It's cool though. No biggie.
-Piper and Jackson shared a "moment". Uh oh. I wonder if a new connection is going to start up, but I'm still keeping an eye on Jackson. I remember his profile said that he's maybe too good for someone of his age and maybe he's been using some gradual magic to be less suspectful. I'm sure if he is the agent, he'd be careful enough to know that when magic happens, clues and suspects follow.
-Okay, I was enthralled by the description of the Woodland forest and it's nature inhabitants, but I had to stop to comment. They seem like Wood Nymphs, except more realistic. Their dialogue is fantastic and their attire must be stunning. As you know, I love the idea of rain playing in the background and I can imagine the serene forest sounding like a rain forest with all the rain happening. And for these lovely ladies, the rain renews the forest for them and I found that to be an excellent touch. I'm loving them already and it's original to Charmed, since they aren't exactly labeled as Wood Nymphs. Then again, this season has been nothing but original, so Im not surprised.
-I wonder if that shadowy figure was poisoning them. I wonder what it is though. Im not sure if "Tordon" is the liquid or who it belongs to.
-I wasn't expecting a funeral for Kara to be explored. It was extremely believeable until Kara turned on Phoebe. I knew it was a dream then, or better yet, a nightmare. A definite confirmation was Prue calling Phoebe "immature". It's very OOC for present Prue and you would know being the Prudence Goddess. But it got intense when Kara started displaying what has become of her now. And I could see the actress selected playing that role without a doubt. Once again, the imagery of the white dress becoming red because of the blood and the scars appearing was great. Gruesome, but great.
-Ah! I found that freudian-thingy you were talking about! I wasnt going to comment until the end of the scene, but it's just too funny. Phoebe could totally play that part of switching back and forth between Ryan, eyeing him in ways a sister shouldnt be eyeing another's sisters beau. I picture she kept staring at a certain...area. Back to the freudian-thingy, I caught it with the "hard". Lol. And then again, "I didn't feel it all" LMAO. Omg, and you had concern about this? It's freakin' great. LMAO again. Omg. I keep stopping to comment these Freudian-things, but they keep on coming! "I'll see you naked...later."
-Ryan seemed to feel good that Phoebe found him attractive. That's enough to make a guy arrogant with his looks.
-I'm assuming Prue doesn't want to move in with Ryan for Charmed reasons. She's aware she's the strongest, her sisters would need her and they're relationship is on good terms right now. She might also not be ready to take that next step yet. I assume she'll cover that with her sisters by episode's end. She did have a quick comeback though.
-Oh! I had a LOL moment when Prue said, "I was hoping you'd say Piper". Very realistic.
-I'm not sure how I feel about Piper completely freaking out about Leo over breakfast. It seems like something she would discuss at P3, walking down the street, but not just getting up. I laughed at how she sees her pilate instructor more, but it wasn't that easy for me to picture Piper lashing out (with exclamation points) so early in the morning after having a casual (and frankly, curt) conversation.
-It's strange seeing Prue in such a great relationship. The most we ever got was Andy and dates with other less important people. Im happy to see her in a relationship, but it's also hard to find her voice in that talk sometimes. Im so used to the Prue that is looking out for danger, talking about work and so on. Not about how great her beau looks w/o the boxers, lol.
-Omg, you had me scared something was going on with Alchemy's profits. I frankly don't understand club business, though I do a little more now with the info you provided, but Wow. Just seeing Jackson pass that blue pen along was such a moment of achievement for Piper. I can see a light burning between the two especially with Lacking Leo failing to make his presence known to Piper.
-Ah, they're thanking Artemis. Goddess of Wilderness and all things nature, right?..So Iaera is poisoned. Great imagery for that by the way.
-I sure hope Leo doesn't stand Piper up. Or doesn't come too late. Both suck on different levels.
-We truly share the same views on why magic is better left unexposed. Mainly for the safety of people. I appreciated someone else writing that in to share that view with me. Im working with that similar idea with S10 and Im glad to see Im not the only one who thought of reasons why magic isn't supposed to be exposed as opposed to- Demons and teh Elders saying so. Arcas really helped Phoebe out with his three observations of supernatural inclusion.
-I love how the camera focuses on the burning candle after Jackson enters the manor. It's as if it's symbolizing a fire burning between the two present in the manor.
-LOL I love the mention of Jackson's past "date". I was kinda hoping that you weren't going to state that it was the door that he had to pay for, so I could prove that I remembered, but Im sure you can trust my word. I wonder if Jackson was hinting that to Piper for some special reason. Piper did give him an opening, but I cant help but think there's an extra power behind that.
-When Leo appeared, I bet Piper must've thought he was spending his time away from her at a Magical Prostitution Club. I'd be freaked out seeing four naked people around Leo if I was Piper.
-LMAO! This episode is hilarious. Prue and Phoebe walk in and hear Piper and Leo screaming "It's not working!" And then Piper giving instructions. Absolutely great. Priceless.
-I can understand why Leo didn't want to orb through the forest, but Im not sure if Im exactly satisfied with your reason. I can understand if he was scared that people would see the three columns of orbs at that time of night, but you said he was scared people would be camping. Whitelighters generally have the ability to sense the presences in a location to make sure they don't just orb in and expose themselves.
-Ah, I see what you meant by the torch beam and flashlight, lol. The latter would've been better.
-Hmm. Morea says she knows a man by the name Arcas. Perhaps it may not be Phoebe's Arcas, but another Arcas since Arcas said, "It's the name I go by in these robes." And okay. I just cheated. I figured that since the name was getting some attention, I'd look it up and apparently Arcas is the Son of Zeus. That would make sense with the power of lightning at his disposal. I feel like I was just looking in the Book of Shadows, lol. Apparently, Zeus disguised himself as a goddess to seduce Artemis and ultimately created Arcas. Now Artemis is being praised in this episode, so I wonder if you went that far with the connection. I do feel confident that I just stumbled upon a clue though.
-I wonder when we'll see some more on old partnerships between the Order and the Founders. Definitely something I want to see explored.
-Wow, so it wasnt even a demon that wanted them dead. Just for some construction plans. Very interesting, though I can't comment on this further. I saw my Madame Executive's name and she needs me to read her.
-And OmG her scene rocked. Hmm. I must speculate though. Jackson has been working with Piper since pretty much the beginning, but Ryan has been there since the premiere. Alchemy has been successful after 6 months, as stated in this episode, so it can be assumed that Jackson worked with Piper before the opening obviously. My eyes remain open.
-Wow, Karya attacked! So much for innocent, huh? Also, where does she get off telling Wilkinson that this punishment is for his other sins. She has no right to play God and decide the fate of others to her own satisfaction. I'm glad Morea confronts her on that.
-Oh yeah, Go Morea! I wasn't expecting the bow to come in play, but Im damn glad it is. So I guess we can assume Morea to be your "Poster Girl" for this episode.
-I loved how Prue TK'd the poison. It was like a potion being used, except something that actually exists. The green light accompaning Karya's vanishing worked well as opposed to instant flames!!!! I also like how Morea teleports the girls to the new groves. You didnt really put a description, but I just assumed the spiraling leaves would accompany them. I'm glad they found a new grove though because I was scared that Morea would die as well. She grew on me like the other Dryads. Even Karya who just became corrupt in the end.
-Fantastic fcuking spell. I actually read it out loud because it was so stunning. It flows so well. Glad to see you were able to make something great out of it.
-Aww, rose colored petals raining down on them. I hope they take them home, store them and maybe use them one day to contact the Dryads again.
-Damn it, you are too good with concealing your clues. Both Ryan and Jackson, seen in this episode, have infiltrated the manor. Jackson's entrance is a little more discreet though. Maybe he has some seducing power and gives off this pheromone feeling. That's a stretch, but I have a feeling that M.E's associate happens to be stronger than her. Why else would she tolerate his lateness?
-Okay, Ryan's report? I kinda caught on that just by the opening description, but he then says "a report my superior (m.E) didn't like". Hmm.
-Piper's breaking up with Leo?! And then he cut off. I'm assuming this has to do with what he failed at months ago.

Alright, fantastic episode that was worth the wait. Humorous, light demon activity, but a lot of magic still! Drama and all! Really great episode, Reyn. Although the next one will be better. No doubt about it.

Grr! I wrote a really long review for this and when I came to post it, my login time had timed out and I couldn't get back to what I'd written. So annoying. So now I'm going to try and remember everything that I wrote but forgive me if I miss somethings out.

First of all, I loved the idea of the episode. The fact that the person who poisoned the tree was left until right at the end was interesting, it makes a change for it not to be so easy for TCOs.

Right, Phoebe's nightmare was a great touch, something that was needed to keep with her continuity of feeling guilty for not being able to protect an innocent. It always annoyed me that most deaths that happened (even to Phoebe) TCOs could get over it by the next week and it didn't really have an effect. I mean, even looking at the way Piper acted after Dr Williamson's death, the next week it was all forgotten about! So, the nightmare was a great touch. Also Arcas once again helping her. I loved that he brought it up and made sure she saw that it wasn't her fault. He definitely has a way with words. I think this is what made me think he cared for her in another way, also something that...I can't remember her name now! The girl that was training with them in the previous episode...was said about Arcas being happier since he met Phoebe. She definitely means something to him and I don't think it is just her destiny.

I can see where Piper is coming from in wanting more from Leo, and when she invited Jackson in, I began to wonder (and still am) whether there is something that is going to happen between them. Jackson appears to like her, but I'm not sure whether that is because he is the agent or not, and just pretending as a way into find out more about her and find out her weaknesses. In a way, I hoped Leo would orb in on them or something, just to see that Piper does have other options out there and that as much as she loves him it doesn't just come to that. Which is why, as heartbreaking as it was, I'm glad the ending happened. As much as I am a fan of PIper and Leo and can not imagine them apart in the real Charmed, I could see it in this version. I wouldn't complain too much if it happened either, Piper isn't happy and she did the right thing.

Oh and I thought I could say "yes! Jackson is the agent!" until I then remembered that it was Ryan's first time in the Manor too, so I was still left wondering. Plus, the mentioning of the folder and Ryan saying it was a report that his supervisor wasn't happy with makes me look more to him now. I want to believe that its all just coincidential, but I don't believe in coincidences when it comes to any show like this!

Ok, I think I got everything in again -- oh no, I missed the fact that this is one of my favourite episodes so far. I'm looking forward to finding more time to read the next episode now.

Glad you liked it! And although we know who poisoined the trees, we still don't know the real reason they were poisoned, or even who wanted them poisoned in the first place. That comes later.

I agree with your continuity comment - that was one of the things that really annoyed me about the original Charmed. Things would happen to the sisters - big events - and they'd go on with their lives as if nothing out of the ordinary happened. It frustrated me to see big things so carelessly pushed aside. When writing this season, that is one of the things I have tried to avoid - everything in BAM has repercussions, and the sisters can't merely 'shrug off' things as they seemed to do in the original Charmed. After everything that Phoebe went through in the Shadow Realm, I felt it was only natural that she would have nightmares about it, and I'm happy that you enjoyed that scene. Regarding Arcas - he definitely has a way with words! He has a lot of knowledge of the supernatural world, and he uses it to great effect, both when he is fighting supernatural foes, and also when he is reasoning with Phoebe. The girl whose name you are searching for is Candice - and she certainly believes that Arcas cares for Phoebe. Is that true or simply an assumption on her behalf? We'll soon see

The Piper/Jackson dynamic is an interesting one, and one that will be touched upon more as the season progresses. Does something happen between them? Maybe. Maybe not And thank you so much for your comment regarding Piper and Leo - I appreciate that even though you love them as a couple, you could see that as their relationship stands at the moment, it is not a happy one. Thank you for seeing the scene in the context of the events of the season, rather than seeing it in the context of a Piper/Leo shipper. It means a lot that you could put aside your Pleo love and respect the scene for what it is. I will say that Piper and Leo still have a lot to go through as characters, though, and their relationship with one another is certainly not over.

Indeed! When you start to think you know who the Agent is - that is the exact time something happens to make you second guess that thought! Jackscon and Ryan are definite candidates for being the Agent! (As an aside - if you do have particular ideas as to who the Agent is, you can always join the Agent discussion in the Spoilers and Speculation forum. Now that you are almost caught up, I don't think there is anything in that section that could spoil you.)

After some research (I wanted to wait until I had finished the episode, but since I had to stop reading after the Teaser, I made the research before restarting) I learnt that Tordon was some kind of herbicide

Phoebe seems to be getting the “are you OK?” question a lot after receiving her visions hehe

I love your Dryads how Karya faces the Charmed Ones to confront the attackers! Our Nymphs would have just sit back and sang a happy tune lol btw, love how the attack is just a mortal thing and not magical

I do have to admit that I expected Phoebe to activate her shield to protect herself from Karya’s vines. Leo said Dryads were immune to magic, not that their own magic was unrepellable.

I’m actually glad there was Morea to stop Karya’s rampage. The girl’s out for some havoc at this stage.

If you are to bring fairies and trolls and leprechauns – I wouldn’t mind the least
I’m stunned that they actually waited so long to bring such mythology in and they did quite use the childish part of it, but I’m sure you can muster something far better.

This one is still my favourite, I think Even though they're all masterpieces in and of themselves

-I am looking forward to this episode for it sounds really interesting!

-I really like how Piper is coming into a respectable success after a long time with Alchemy. I think that Piper had always done a great job with P3 and she seems a natural in the business world, especially franchise. I can't wait to see what happens next with Piper and Jackson. Though I believe that Leo and Piper is a major couple, I feel like there is something beneath the surface with jackson...but I could be wrong lol.

-The women remind me of the Nymphs which is probably what you were aiming for, but I am curious to know what Tardon does. I think it kills trees, but it must also want to kill these women as well, but he woudl need to do it to the other trees right? I don't know, i guess I shall find out! lol.

-I have a feeling the scene with kara yelling at her is a dream. Phoebe is too beat up for it to be anything else.

Also, you said "so he we are." I think you mean "here."

-I feel bad for Phoebe, she is taking this death a lot harder than the others. I mean, I would never be able to know what it is like to see someone die. But Phoebe must feel heartbroken.

-So Ryan is now staying over huh? This must be really awkward for Phoebe....lol. That scene was really funny, a nice comedic moment to the depressing moment Phoebe had.

-Ryan and Prue's realtionship seems to be going really fast...I wonder what will happen with the couple next and if Prue will ever tell him her secret. I mean it took Prue almost a year to tell Andy that they were witches, so I wonder....

-The never ending battle for Piper and Leo. lol. Well, i wonder if Piper and Jackson will get it together. it would be a twist...lol. I do feel bad for Piper though. Holding out for a guy who doesn't really come to her at all. Though it isn't his fault, it is still a frustrating concept.

-I feel bad for Phoebe again. She still doesn't get to have her guy...yet I hope. I wonder if he will come intot he feelings that Phoeeb has for him. But I guess that is another thing I have to wait for. lol.

-That is great that Alchemy has made a profit. Profit is always good .

-Again, i wonder what a demon would want hurting the gardem fairies (a description ZI just decided haha). I guess we shall see...

-I like how Phoebe's powers are effected by her nightmares, and it is a nice change that she is not perfect. Very nice. .

-I liked Arcas' explaination to the magical world to humans, and it is very true. For we see this not in supernatural standpoints, but in the world today. If you are put into a world other than your own, you lose your element and familiarity. You may not go crazy, but you certainly go whacko. lol.

-I really like how Piper and Jackson are having their moment here. I do think that Piper may become attracted to the manager. It would be a cool twist. And also, Leo's constant no shows would be a perfect explaination for Piper's actions.

-Now, that was not the best thing for Leo to do, after missing their date and omcing in with women, but of course the Charmed Ones have to help...poor Piper.

-haha, this epsiode is a very...intimate one lol. But it is really funny at the same time, you are really good at the comedic moments .

-I like the Greek myth in there. I had no idea they were Greek myths, being a mythological person myself, by reading and stuff. Nice tie into the series, very realisitic!

-Talking about Prue's power, i wonder if Prue will get a new power. I mean, I know she has telekinesis, but will she advance in anyway? Will Piper?

-I wonder who the demon is that wants to attack the Dryads...Guess we shall fnid out.

-I wonder if Arcas is that old. I bet he is the same Arcas, but we shall see. For that would be really funny id he dated one of the Dryads. IMO. lol.

-I hope they save Ioera in time, for what seems like now, it won't be so lucky.

-That was interesting and of course it is not a demon. I am glad that demons are the only focus in this series and that supernatural happenings could be related to real life problems Nice!

-That is really interesting. So now I think Ryan is tyring to save Prue in some way with not giving full reports anymore. I think this is really interesting, and a nice plot twist. Guess we shall see what happens to dear Ryan and what the Suit does.

-Ooooo, the construction workers are the reason for the trees being poisoned. interesting!

-I am surprised that Karya is being violent. It is a twist in of itself!

-Iaera died, that is really sad...that explains her anger outburst, but how willl the Charmed Ones stop Kayra?

-This is a good GO GREEN episode. Very nice. I also like how Morea is the one to stop Karya for the time being.

-Now two Dryads are dead...that is really sad, but I also like how they are able to transfer their bonds, that is a good way to resolve this problem, so very nicely done, this episode is really interesting and spilling with originality. .

-That was a really long spell to have remorized in such short time, but oh well, one minor thing. I also liked the means in which the spell had to be done. Very ritualistic, and very interesting to use.

-This is Ryan, darn, and all this is just to get to the Book i feel. The plan is well thought out and everything, so nicely done. ic an see the scheme in this now. Ryan knows Prue will be hesitant to the thought of moving in, so he uses that as a device to keep him inside the Manor. Very mischievious and nicely done...

-So Prue is trying it out then huh? Interesting, and also the report was interesting too, to see that we are seeing clues of his true nature now...

-And voila! The break off of Leo and Piper's relationship...for now. That was a good thing to do, for I felt for the longest time Piper continued to whine about it with no action. So this was good and was needed. nicely done.

A good episode and gave lots of interesting issues that got to be resolved in here. So lets see what happens in episode 11!

Scene 1- I feel like I want a magic interviened love scene between Piper / Jackson. I can tell he likes her and its almost as if Piper feels like she can have a normal life with him.

Scene 2- Not so sure what hapenned with the women there. They poured a liquid on the oak of a tree and it frooze?.

Scene 3- So great!!!I love this scene so much. I can picture this done in charmed as the beginning. It is good, well descripted and narrated. I like it how Kara was once white and beautiful like an angel than symbolising her true form. It is a good metaphor to what she has become and she is truly reaching out to Phoebe.

Scene 4- HEY!!! Its a dream??. How horrible. I really thought the funeral hapenned. Like in the moment.

Scene 5- Phoebe and the water makes a good scene.

Scene 6- lol funny scene. Phoebe / Ryan. " See you naked." Ha!. You think Phoebe is feeling just a wee bit uncomfertable. Prue doesnt seem so secretive anymore. However I dont think Piper like's Ryan in the least.

Scene 7- Nice, Night turns to day..

Scene 8- Lol! " You sexed him up?" What is this do the two sisters share the same mind hehe. Phoebe likes Cinnamon its so typical of her and good.

Scene 9- Ohh, so cute its almost as if Piper / Jackson are a couple but their not. She seems so much happier in that one moment with him than she ever did so far with Leo.

Scene 10- Day turns to night. I like visuals of this always pretty.

Scene 11- What is a Dryads? Ive noticed 2 things. One is you like to do gory scenes what with that?. There good but ive noticed it repeadly in episodes are you a horror fan? The other thing was I was wondering if you could do an episode where the sisters see something they are going through in an innocent. Like the two are going through the same thing in the same time frame.

Scene 12 - Cute sisters cant get enough of them,

Scene 13- Piper is so anxious for Leo. Its almost like a happy story.

Scene 14- When you said this " This is what happened to your and your sisters." I think you meant to say " This is what happened to you and youre sisters instead of your your." Lol something that caught my eye. Its very amazing how fast Phoebe changed her points of view when Arcas explained to her what his opinions were.

Scene 15- All she need's now is her date. You can tell Piper is more or less the professional in the family. : 0. Poor Piper is that Leo late?!!!

Scene 16- Nice!! Romantic Piper / Jackson scene. He is sooo sweet and Piper deserves a relationship thats solid. All that's left now is Leo.

Scene 17- I like this, Piper can really talk to Jackson. Its nice even as a friend relationship. I cant say that much for Leo. Not now at least not the way he has been treating Piper.

Scene 18 - lol I like the fact that Piper actually got ready to yell at Leo but than changes her expression when seeing half naked girls in his arms. I would yell. LOL.

Scene 19- Sisters always come on time. Ironic isnt it?

Scene 20 - Lol I know what the sisters were thinking. Piper / Leo sex scene probably. Ha! that would be funny. " Help us?" " No thanks Piper." Funny how they ended up helping and didnt leave at once.

Scene 21- You are making the charmedone's powers as well as Leo's advance rather quickly. Its suprising.

Scene 22- Interesting, the Tyrads or whatever are linked to the tree's. I like that it says alot. It shows there occupation and how much they really do care for the forest. Not only as a job or a hobbie but a bond is shown here. As for the Piper whipping Leo in the fast saying " Save it!" It is funny. Something I would do.

Scene 23- I love this scene so much. Its really good and I could picture watching this episode only by the scene description. Very good, information, action & innocent.

Scene 24- YEAY!! Phoebe's power is once again at large. She is having Pemonitions again. I love that power and say Phoebe takes great advantage of it. Played out well.

Scene 25- nooo!! another innocent Syke hurt?

Scene 26- Kayra is a very brave person to be standing up to the charmedones the way she did. Especially Leo, he clearly explained the extent of the situation and still she persists.

Scene 27- I like this scene, It is very much in Mme Executive's character to be warning and looking over the papers of the man's report. I like how you started off this scene and I think I am getting to know Mme Executive pretty well. Hate to judge without knowing all the facts though but to me she is getting pretty far and impressively. " Under the charmedone's noses."

Scene 28- This chapter is very good. Action filled. Very keeping the reader wanting to read. I like it, it is also one that has alot of death. Death that didnt seem to be comprehended much.

Scene 29- Very sweet, the Dryads are very sweet and caring. They want to thank the charmedones but have nothing much to offer. What is there to say but thanks. You can tell that they are trying hard to keep the forest up and there is a mutual
understanding for what they are doing through the charmedones.

Scene 30- Very VERY cool. Its smoothly done, that is Mme Executive's coolniss on the situation with the agent and the associates lateness. I knew she wouldnt react too badly for this scene. However it is sad that now she has more time to do what she wishes to the charmedones : (.

Scene 31- Ha! Mouthwash. Not the most embarrasing thing but it is something.

Scene 32- Ohhh. Very well done. The conversation between Piper and Leo. Very sad too I felt like crying knowing all too well what Piper is feeling. Inside and out. I feel for Leo as well but I cant say I didnt expect this outcome because I knew it was going to happen. The question now is what will happen to them each while they try to continue their lives?. I love the Piper / Leo story more than any other but Piper is right. Sometime you have to do the bigger thing. Lol! Its finishes there good.

The opening so far is wonderful. You’ve got a real knack for that delicate balance between drama and humour that was Charmed. With Phoebe’s nightmare, I felt her devastation and her guilt, and then when she ran into Ryan in the hallway, her automatic taking in of his (awesome) body followed by the “whoa” exclamation to herself were just so distinctly Phoebe I couldn’t help but laugh.

PHOEBE
It’s okay. I didn’t feel it all.

She realises what she’s said, corrects herself in a panic.

PHOEBE (CONT’D)
At all. I didn’t feel it at all.

Mortified, Phoebe begins to blush as she backtracks.

PHOEBE (CONT’D)
Anyway, I’m just going to go back to bed. I’ll see you naked.
(correcting again)
Later. I’ll see you later.

Hilarious, lol. I could see the whole thing so clearly. Phoebe’s such a quirky good time. And it’s also a relief to see that while she’s clearly struggling with her guilt, and has a long road ahead of her, happy go lucky, optimistic, fun loving Phoebe is not dead and gone. She’s just a little lost right now.

I feel like some Dryads might just “heal” Piper’s herb garden for her as a little thank you by the end . That’ll be nice. The poor girl doesn’t get enough time to do the cooking she loves.

Stupid Jackson. Stupid Alchemy. Stupid blue pen. Stupid hug. Stupid profit. I am going to be so crushed when this road leads where I think it’s going to lead. Man! Well, I suppose it had to happen sooner or later; she was so upset when Leo appeared out of nowhere after being gone for six months, and despite what they agreed on at the end of that episode, they really haven't been taking things all that slowly. I don’t know if they slept together (my money’s on not… when would they have had the time?) but they have been a couple through and through when they ARE together, and going back to the way they had (briefly) been every once in a while really doesn’t put them any more forward than they were the first time around back in season one. I just wish it didn’t have to be Jackson. Or Dan. Or anyone that’s not Leo, haha. Kidding. Kind of.

…. Please, please, PLEASE let Leo show up for this date. I’m not ready for her to break up with him yet. I’m not. Don’t let him get held up!

I’m enjoying Phoebe’s conversation with Arcas about her guilt, and her responsibility for Kara. Especially since we know that Arcas has also lost someone in the not too distant past. Whether that person was an innocent, or a trainee, or a lover, I don’t know, but the effect it has had on him remains the same. And it’s funny that she immediately concludes Piper and Leo wouldn’t understand, considering they weren’t actually in the Shadow Realm with her, but she would find an adequate companion in Leo right now, given that he’s still smarting from whomever it was he lost ten months ago. All the more experienced people who are part of the magical community have endured the kind of loss that is currently rocking Phoebe to her core, and it sucks that they all have to deal with it, but it means there’s hope for Phoebe as well. Because if anyone can come back from something like this, it’s Phoebe. Also, I loved, LOVED the line, “… sometimes people choose their own path, and that choice leads to their death.” Great.

This episode has fast become another one of my favourites. I’m still reeling from the crazy ride that was last episode, but this one is pretty high up there! I’ll admit I was a little wary when I started… I have all the faith in the world in you, but the dryad episode in season five sucked. Bad. The only good part about it was the super cute Piper/Leo scene toward the end in the bedroom, lol, just thinking about that makes me smile. But that’s the only part I ever watch (albeit, repeatedly ) of that episode, because it is absolutely brutal. Anyway, I’m so pleasantly surprised! The witty banter has been exemplary. There have been SO many things said between the sisters and said between Piper and Leo that I’ve wanted to quote, but it really would just take up space doing so much of that. Everyone’s personality is just bang on and flowing together so seamlessly and effortlessly... it’s phenomenal; I love it.

When Leo made the comment about Piper being beautiful as they start their trek back out of the forest, I think I was feeling as annoyed by it as Piper. Leo is wonderful, and he’s capable of making her feel wonderful, but that doesn’t mean you can just try and smooth things over with compliments when there’s clearly a much, much bigger issue that is never getting addressed. He’s such a boy sometimes I want to smack him. And Jackson better keep his distance, man. I am NOT prepared for this yet. I am NOT.

<confident sing-song> Jackson is going to burn, Jackson is going to burn. Madame Executive is going to have a cookout, and Jackson is going to burn. Not Ryan. Because the agent is Jackson. Jackson Jackson Jackson.

Aww I knew the dryads would fix up Piper’s garden.

The end scene was absolutely breathtaking. Piper and Leo were perfect. Their stances, their tones, their actions, their words… it was so beautiful. I felt the desolation of it all the same way I do every single time I watch P3 H20. The fact that they break up doesn’t stop it from being one of my favourite episodes. They love each other so much, but they have so much to work on and sort out and… sigh. It was marvellous. I would be lying if I said I didn’t plan on reading the scene again as soon as I hit submit. You can just feel how much it breaks Piper’s heart to do what she’s doing, but it doesn’t change the fact that she really couldn’t go on with the relationship the way it was. And Leo, so sad, but there’s still that one little part that he’s holding back from her… season 2 is one of my favourite seasons of Charmed, and I love what you’re doing with it. You keep everything about the season that was good and beautiful and you twist them and incorporate them in your own, unique ways. I’m going to be sad when I get caught up and then have to start waiting for new episodes with everybody else .
