Charmed repeats move to WE TV

Beginning this Monday, Charmed repeats will air on WE TV with back-to-back episodes at 5pm.

I happened to be watching TV for the first time in months with my mom, and we were watching Golden Girls (<3), when I saw the Charmed logo flash up during the commercials, and I almost screamed! D: lol It caught me completely off-guard, but I was SO happy to hear that it's still in syndication. I don't watch Charmed on TNT anymore, but just knowing that it's still successful enough to be put in syndication on at least two different networks (in the US), it just makes me so happy.

One thing I noticed is that the trailer only had clips from the Prue-era. They didn't show a single clip of Rose. Kind of funny, seeing as TNT is the exact opposite, and didn't show any clips of Shannen during their "Charmed on TNT" commercials.

But still, this is GREAT news. ;D

I happened to be watching Ghost Whisperer when the commercial came on. I gasped so loud my sister had to ask what was wrong. Lol. And Alex, I completely agree. The fact this show ended 4 years ago and is still in syndication is awesome. And they probably don't wanna confuse casual viewers as the sommer oak talks about "Three sisters" and "the power of three".

We've recently had something like this happen in the UK. Living who have always shown Charmed here still show it every day Mon-Fri at 4-6 and it's just started on a channel called CBS Drama but so far they've only shown two seasons.

It is pretty cool that it's still being shown in repeats around the world though, isn't it?

Pardon me for being the party pooper, but I don't really see what the big hype about syndication is.
Charmed used to air on three channels here back when it was still running on the WB, although all of them were a season or a few episodes off. I think just one of those channels still airs Charmed. I'm not too sure about the second as I don't suscribe to Showtime channels anymore. They usually have daily reruns of old shows/seasons on the third channel, Star World, and after one show finishes its entire run, it's replaced by another. 7th Heaven and Grey's finished their run one after the other, and I forget which one is going on now. I hope they do bring back Charmed though. There's just something about watching old shows with the commercials that makes you feel all... nostalgic?

I was also watching Golden Girls when I heard "The Power of Three" and I automatically screamed. I think people are happy that Charmed still does well in repeats while other genre shows like Buffy tanked in syndication on FX. I do love watching Charmed on WE and then Buffy on Logo. Very exciting.
