I am really looking forward to the new season after what has happened at the end of Volume 4. What will happen to the Heroes after this? What is coming next?
I have watched some trailers, and the comic con interviews, and it sounds pretty awesome. I am not going to release spoilers unless someone else brings them up, but from what I have heard, it is going to be pretty darn cool...lol.
What are your thoughts?

So I watched the two parter.
4.01/4.02 - Orientation/ Push, Jump Fall
It seems like they're really looking for redemption, and by them I mean the producers. It wasn't really an amazing premiere; they've done better, especially in Season 3. But I'm not going to say "looks like it's going to be a good season", because that's what happened last September and the episodes that followed simply flushed down most of the characterizations along with the essence of the show.
So, this year round:
- Peter: I really like what they've done with him--having the wall of articles of all the people he saved with Suresh's powers. There were shots in episodes (such as the overhead angle of the city helping to transition his superspeed/agility) that reminded me of Smallville's "Red-Blue Blur". So I hope they aren't doing one of their "homages" again. But I was satisfied, so eh.
- Claire: And yet again we've hit a bland story, Barbie. Could one of the carnie-folk please cut her head off already? Please? And most of the characters centered around her seem to fake or boring. I did enoy the Guitar Hero scene though. They've been using too many recycled scenes with her though (such as the broken ribs being tucked back into her body). Oh well. Let's just hope the lesbian kiss a few episodes away makes her more interesting.
- Tracy/HRG/Danko: This has to be my second favorite story arc in this episode. I loved the entire bargain HRG made with her, and how he kept his word. Ali's back to her maximum acting potential. I loved the way she said "I didn't do it" when he walk in and finds her sitting near a sliced up Danko. Haha. And bring out the drinks folks, 'cause we're having a pity party for recently divorced Noah Bennet. Something tells me there might just be an Ice Queen of a stripper to get the party going. Did anyone else (and yeah, this is me asking as a hopeful idiot pretending others here still watch the show) get those vibes when she visits him in the hospital? I like the concept behind the new company though.
- Matt/Sylar: AMAZING acting on Quinto's part while taunting Matt as a figment of his imagination. Honestly, I used to believe that Cristine Rose was the best actor on the show, but I have been mistaken. I was thoroughly impressed by his delivery. I've seen Grunberg do better, but eh, compared to the influx of poor acting from the minor characters, looks good. And sort of an Easter-egg seeing Wes Ramsey there. Poor Matt, Wyatt's nailing his wife (I guess we'll never know now that he redirected him).
- The Carnie-folk: Interesting, to say the least. Why do they all need a compass? Robert Knepper's a great addition the the cast, while Lydia (forgot the actress' name) is some interesting eye candy, but oh well. Edgar has a cool power, as does Samuel, but the latter's is somewhat ambiguous. He was shown to move the earth in the beginning, but then he could also control the ink? Hmm, but interesting nevertheless, and how Samuel keeps family close and is trying to replace the old ones that are gone off. Looking forward to how he lures the others in, as he's doing to Hiro.
Speaking of Hiro, I almost forgot him. Do slice-and-dice him too Edgar, and Ando.

Haha. I watched it too. I was never really into Claire, so I am with you there. Claire actually needs a new power, cause invincibility gets old fast. I did like how they sort of have her in a new setting, and how she is back to Claire Bennett, though it seemed kinda dumb after devoting almost two years of her life to being Claire (whatever).
As for Peter, I don't know, I think he might be a little like and dislike. Though I like him, he seems to be a little weird right now. He always was obsessive with his powers, but I don't know, I need more of the season to get into his character again.
As for Hiro, I am not a fan of him either, he kinda needs to get more serious. His power is cool, but he is SUCH A NERD! I know everyone loves him, and the only reason why they truly keep him is because ratings would drop DRAMATICALLY if he was to be killed off, as well as Claire's case.
I LOVE Tracy in this season. Though I was not a fan of her at first, she has grown to be such an awesome character. The one thing I am not liking is how I sense that she and Noah will get together, I can just somehow sense it...not liking it really. Though her quest for revenge was sweet.
As for Carnie people, I want to see more of them since we barely saw them. They seem cool, and their mission seems cool, but at the beginning of every season they always do the questions and then by Chapter 7 or 8 we understand what happened.
One thing that we didn't chat on, was the Sylar/Nathan deal. That was not handled very well, and at the end of last season I was thinking "Yeah right, like there is no way THAT won't blow up in their face". But I think it will be interesting none the less. i feel bad for Adrian Pasdar now, he won't be able to really continue the show after this, unless Hiro goes back and time and stops Nathan from dying, which would totally suck in my opinion. I am not a big Nathan fan either...SYLAR ALL THE WAY! lol.
As for Wes Ramsey's appearance, it took me a few minutes to figure out it was him which was pretty funny to me after I finally realized it was him.
ANYWHO, I can't wait to see the next episode, and see how the story progresses, I might have a totally different view on the season as time progresses, but there is one question left...WHERE IS MOHINDER?

I think Hiro has lost his charm and so has Claire over the seasons. Masi Oka said that it would be stupid if they cheated death once again and had Hiro live through this illness of his.
They can't really give Claire another power 'cause well, it's Heroes, and unless you're an Empath or Sylar, it's not possible.
Sylar/Nathan will be touched in the next two episodes. It is really interesting.
As for Mohinder, I couldn't be arsed.
Edit: Just watched "Ink".
Heroes has definitely got its old S1 feel back to it. I believe what the show missed out in the middle seasons were relatable characters, or characters you actually cared about. This season, they've brought back that old element into play, and I'm really enjoying it.
Samuel: Quite a deep character. He has interesting intentions and perspectives, wherein he actually has faith in another special's abilities and character, like he did in Peter's Empathy, and actually took his advice. I like how he's reeling in the main characters one by one, and helping him realise who they are at the core, before the terrible volumes shook them up. And his trusting trait that I mentioned before will really facilitate his mission to bring "family" together which forms an opposing party to the Company. I'm not really sure which one will be "good" now, as both secure a place within the grays. And Robert Knepper is such an amazing addition to the cast.
Peter/Emma: Milo Ventimiglia's acting seems to be back as does the old Peter. Deanne Bray is an interesting new addition to the cast and her character is an (obvious) love interest to Peter. Again, as said, she's one of the characters I care about, (mind you, not pity because of her disability), and her power is simply beautiful (for lack of a better word). I loved the park scene. Which brings me to how they're integrating music the way they used to before, giving the episode that old Heroes finish.
Claire/Gretchen: Alright, my view on this has taken a complete 180 and I'm actually liking them now. The build-up to the lesbianism seems to be well done, and slightly unrushed, but I loved the depth they added to Gretchen. And excuse my willingness to see two chicks go at it, but I honestly thought that at any moment in their conversation, one would kiss the other. Claire even asked her to move in with her, lol. Ah, the good old Willara times.
Matt/Syllusion: Again, I love Quinto's acting here, very well delivered, and adds quite some humor to the seemingly dark plot too. Matt's really going crazy; I wonder what he'll finally resort to, now that he has reverted to recklessly using his power again.
Anyone I missed up there? HRG had quite a small part to play in this episode, as did Lydia. Lydia does seem interesting, and she has her own webisode spin-off that was launched today, so I'll be following that (and probably discussing it here if some of you speak up and want to).

Has Tracy been given pyrokinesis yet? I live in hope. Ah, but alas, hope dangles on a string. I'm not even gonna bother reviewing this show anymore. It's getting better, but has a fanbase of 1 in the C-Net/ST community
