Charmed: This or That

You all know the drill. Two things will be named, the next poster chooses which they prefer, then name two more things. If possible, please explain why you chose the one you did. And remember, all things named must be related to Charmed.

Prue or Paige?

That's a toughie. I think i will choose Prue, only because I am really into action stuff, and Prue is more of the action prone sister out of the two. I also really liked Prue as a character. I was sad to see her go, as we all were, but I think she would definately be the sister I would choose.

Coop or Cole?

I don't think I was very sad at Prue/Shannen leaving... *shrug* Don't remember being sad. I was just glad it wasn't Alyssa.

And oh my god, Cole. How could anyone choose Coop over Cole? Cole was a well developed character and was fricken' awesome. And he was Phoebe's soul mate. I don't care what the show did to their relationship, they always loved each other. *sigh*

Zankou or the Source (first Source, not as Cole)?

AMEN, Nerf! Phoebe and Cole were always meant for each other, but good and evil wouldn't let them be together.

The Source, hands down. He was pure evil, while I thought Zankou was all about the chase.

Wyatt or Chris (adult versions)?

Hmm... Are we talking Evil Wyatt, or normal Wyatt? I guess either way I choose Chris. I didn't really like Chris in S6, but the couple times he returned after that I liked him. Evil Wyatt was awesome in Chris Crossed and his short appearance in the S6 finale, but in Imaginary Fiends the actor wasn't as muscly and they used that fake hair, so... blah. The normal adult Wyatt also just seemed... like an idiot. "Is that Grams?" Like you have never met her, nor have you ever seen a picture? And just blurts out about Coop. Whenever he showed up he was pretty loose lipped about the future. Agh. Idiot. I didn't like him. Seemed like such a dolt. ... Then again, he is Leo's son. ;D

Spells or Potions?

Thats a bit of a tossup for me but I would have to say spells. I loved seing the sisters get together and saying the spell instead of just throwing a potion only times i really like potions was when prue moved it on the grimlocks (both times) and when Paige orbed it into Barbas.

Which would you rather see as a TV show - Piper spinoff or Phoebe spinoff?

That is a toughy...In all honesty (though I write a Phoebe spin off) I think I would be more interested in Piper, for we wer focused on her int he early years, but once we got to Season 3, it felt solely areound Phoebe for a long time, so all we got was Phoebe and her story. Not that i complain, being a Phoebe fan, but you know what I mean? lol.

Andy or Darryl?

Thats really tough but ill say this if Prue was around I would say Andy because the storylines could have been good had they both lived but when she died i can see
Darryl being better but Im leaning toward Darryl but I dont know haha

Prue Working at Bucklands or Prue the Photographer

Prue working at Bucklands. There were more interesting stories and I loved where she could look at something and figure out when it was made and by whom. I think that after she quit her job she sort of lost her way. Heh. Like Paige. They are more alike than we thought. Photography was fun, but I just felt she fit better with Bucklands.

I sort of have two questions: Piper's wedding ceremony or Paige's wedding ceremony? Just the ceremony.

And to go with that: Overall, which episode do you like better? Piper's wedding episode (Just Harried) or Paige's (Engaged and Confused)?

Damn, Nerf! Burn much? ROFLMAO!

Just Harried, hand down. First off, not a huge fan of s8, not because of Billie, but it just really lacked originality and it seemed like I've seen it all before. Second, Just Harried was a Piper based episode from start to finish. It was all about Piper and Leo and their wedding. In Engaged and Confused, yes it was a somewhat Paige episode, but she only decided to have the wedding at the end of the episode, whereas with JH it was planned from the beginning.

Let's see...season 3 or season 4?

That is a toughy. I liked Season 3 because of Prue and I liked Season 4 because of the Source...so, I might just have to say Season 4 I like a little more. Only because of the constant action that it had with the Source and how they had to escape death on a daily basis. I liked it, and Season 3 had its perks, but I like Season 4 slightly more.

Whitelighter Paige or Witch Paige? There are differences in the two. Practically Season 5 and 6, then her being the whitelighter from 7 and 8. What do you think?

Um.... hmm. I'll say... witch. But more for S5, not S6. When she was a Whitelighter it was always so... random. Meaning she would have random charges that we would never see, or hear about, again. And just her being a whitelighter was random. Sometimes she would have charges, other times she would have nothing to do with any of that stuff. But... Paige and her plot lines have always been so flip floppy and random. She was also a pretty neglectful whitelighter. In "Imaginary Fiends" she was so annoyed about getting called. And Billie? Billie was supposed to be Paige's charge, but she kept pushing the job onto Leo and the other sisters. Not the most reliable girl... At least not by that point. When she actually had direction as a character back in S4, she was great and loved helping people, making sure she was there for them. Boy did that change.

Prue's astral projection, or Paige's orbing?

Hmmm, I would have to say Astral Projection. Only because, Paige's orbing became so much less active for the sisters. if you look at after Shannen left (i know another nit picky thing), but the girls got less active due to Paige's orbing power. With Prue's power, it seemed to be much more interesting to see cause she had to work after projecting. No powers or anything in that state. So I would need to go with Astral Projection.

Demons or Warlocks?

Heh, with Paige's orbing the sisters stopped exercising so they got lazy and fat.

This could change, but right now I say Warlocks. Partly because they were so under used.

Something Wicca This Way Comes, or Something Wicca This Way Goes?

Good question. I think I will go with "Something Wicca This Way Goes". First, I hav eseen the first episode way too much, and though it is a good opener, it just doesn't seem as good as the seventh season finale. The reference were great, the action was really well done, and the suspense kept me going for a long time. Much more of a better finale than the real finale of Charmed (no offense to anyone!). Anyways, I liked the plotline, and how they had to believe in themselves once again as witches, they used spells, potions, and this demon actually was able to make it seem like the Charmed Ones were going to lose. So it was a great episode.

Good Phoebe or Evil Phoebe? (Phoebe was evil more than once)

I think the S8 finale was a better final one, but I do really like the S7 one now (didn't used to).

Anyway, I have to say good Phoebe. She is the Phoebe that I fell in love with, who was always my favorite no matter what they did to her character. But I certainly loved it whenever Alyssa got the chance to play evil. I thought she was pretty good at it. Queen of the Underworld Phoebe was fricken' awesome! Loved the fire throwing power. ;D

The Charmed Ones as goddesses, or as Valkyries?

ooooo *cackles evilly* This one is a toughy. I was a fan of the Greek Goddess thing, since I love mythology. But the Valkyries were so totally cool...I think i will go with the Valkyries. It showed the more athletic side of them, and how they could kick ass after the fluffy season they went into with Season 5. Also, the introduction to Phoebe's empathy power was nice. It was how I always envisioned it after Prue's experience and how emotion is very powerful (until it changed...). Anyways, I would have to say Valkyries, though I do love the wrap up they did with the Goddesses and how they seemed to reflect who they are when they are the Goddesses.

Belthazar or Sykes?

Belthazar, of course. Sykes was the one from "Black as Cole" right? Anyway, B-man was one of the best demons of the entire series. Certainly one of the most powerful. And he looked so damn cool. ;D A great other-half for Cole.

Paige & Kyle, or Paige & Glenn?

Haha, Cole was pretty cool until he turned into a softy!

As for this one...I think I like Paige and Glenn. Only because Kyle seemed like he only liked Paige because of the information she could bring to him. Not any type of love form his part. though Paige was in love with him. Glenn and Paige have history and I think Glenn might have been the better choice for Paige than Henry int he end, but that is all up to the writers isn't it? lol. So, I guess Paige & Glenn. Final answer. lol.

Hmm, what next?

Jason or Henry?

Henry. I liked him right from the start and never disliked him. He was just a really cool guy who was loyal and really loved Paige. Such great acting and wonderful chemistry between Ivan and Rose. Plus we got a happy ending with Henry.

Whitelighters or Darklighters?
