I'm doing some editing of Family Magic and although Wikipedia and the Charmed Wiki cite Philippa Bowen as the mother of P. Baxter (Grams' mother) was this ever established on the show? I've given the character a different name in my fanfiction and just for the sake of continuity I wanted to know if the name Philippa Bowen was seen on the show or if it's just fan speculation. I know it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things but I wanted to be as accurate as possible with the jumbled Charmed history. It never was established on the show. On the family tree, maybe, but that's just a silly, inconsistent prop. Besides, Charmed Wiki doesn't ever seperate the canon (the series and the comics) from the semi-canon or non-canon (the novels). It's all a jumbled mess. Go with the name you had. |

The Charmed wiki actually gets on my nerves a little bit because some of the names they seem to pull from nowhere and it changes from week to week. I think some fans just put their own name idea son there. Its not actually possible to make out P.Baxter's mother's name on the prop - unless someone actually owns it and put it on there? Unlikely. So yeh, go with your own name, thats what I'm doing  |

When it comes to the Warren lineage I simply took a few liberties when it came to connecting the people in the family tree. I used the Charmed Wiki as a reference, but I suppose as long as the tree makes sense and relates to the names used in the books or the show then there's nothing wrong with making a few things up.
In my Charmed Again series (am I allowed to shamelessly advertise the fact that chapter 3 is up? *cough*) I've connected a few of the dots as to who P. Bowen was and who her mother was. It's not canon and may not be 100% correct if the makers of the show know something that we don't, but as long as the tree is plausible then there's no problem in taking a few liberties here and there.
