Yay! Season eight fans unite! See, it does get better the more you watch it. ;D I have always loved the finale. I thought that, for the most part, it was a great end to the series. And even though I do really like the S7 finale (something which I came to realize just recently by, again, watching it more) it wouldn't have been a good series finale. Sure, it had a lot of nostalgic moments and references, but it was very action heavy. I love action, but the S8 finale gave us heart. It gave us what the show is about, which is family. Of course the episode had some problems, how can it not? But it was still great. It closed the series, but also showed that their lives were Forever Charmed. Oh, and David, I looooove your sig banner. It's so awesome, with all the smoke and the lighting. And that's a great picture of Jennifer Rhodes. Did you make it?

I've always loved season 8 and I'm a Billie fan too. She reminded me sometimes of Phoebe during season 1 and 2. I also agree that the Billie/Christy/Triad storyline was good. I don't know why many people hate the season or Billie. Forever Charmed was a perfect way to close Charmed. Although the little mistakes this episode was very good and I loved how Piper was the one who saved everything (or almost anything). Writing this makes me wanna see the whole season again

I am actually watching "Still Charmed and Kicking" and looking back to the end of the season, I am really liking Phoebe in this season more than the others. She has a lot going on, and she has her quirkiness back that was lost for so long, and she seems much more like a character than she did in other seasons. She had some umph to her character again. Like "Hulkus Pulkus" and in "Vaya Con Leos" she is a very emotional character and she is often not given the credit she deserves. I like her, so I dont know, maybe i am biased lol.

Season eight was not the best season, but it was fairly good. I like how the Triad is given a bigger role than season three. However, the explanation of how they returned sucks. They could've kept up continuity by reusing how they brought back the Grimlocks from "All Halliwell's Eve". I love Henry. Unfortunately, season eight as some of the worst castings (Henry, Coop, The Angel of Destiny, and the Triad were probably the best). Even though I'm a Coop fan, I think it would've been better if he would've just been a guest star to just reopen Phoebe's heart (like in Generation Hex). Then for Phoebe to not give up on it, and the flash forward in Forever Charmed would've had Phoebe saying she had three daughters, but never mentioning who the father was, leaving it up to the viewers choice to decide if they wanted a new guy or Cole to be saved from Limbo and be with Phoebe.
Just got done watching Engaged and Confused, did anyone else feel bad for Paige when she walked down the aisle by herself?

I don't think I would have liked it if they kept the father of Phoebe's children secret. Not only because we wouldn't know, but because of the "It could be Cole" discussions. He's stuck in a cosmic void (not limbo), he can't be saved.
I never felt bad for Paige walking down the aisle alone. She made it clear for herself who her 'real' father is and what role Sam has for her.
Speaking off Paige's wedding. That's the only thing I kind off dislike about the season. It's a bit rushed. It's like the writers decided that, because it's the last season, they have to marry off Phoebe and Paige. Phoebe's wedding is okay, that is set in the future, but Paige's was too fast. She only knew him for a couple of weeks.

It didn't have to be Sam. Everytime I watch that scene, I wished they would have had Piper and Phoebe both walk her down. It would have been a great "heart warming, sisterly love" between them seeing as, IMO, there wasn't much of those with Paige since she came in, than there were with Prue. I agree with the whole "moving too fast". I thought it would've been better if they introduced Henry at the start of the season. IMO, I think the writers missed a good opportunity to mention Darryl when they introduced Henry seeing as how he did work at the police station. If I recall, we only got one mention of Darryl in season eight. Now that I think about season eight, does anyone find the season refreshing? IMO, Leo was highly annoying in parts of season six and most of season seven and to have him not be in the last season much felt really relaxing. Sorry, not trying to be mean or anything.

I totally understand what you mean. I couldn't find any word how to describe the season, but refreshing would be it.

Season 8 was pretty good for the most part except:
1. Christy, I hated Christy. She should have been killed beforehand or never created. Why? She's evil, manipulative, and just plain stuck up. Billie, one of my new favorite characters was definitely better off without her.
Positivity:
Coop: Coop was pretty good, but his appearance was a bit annoying. Cole was Phoebe's guinea pig for love at first, then after Cole, she was off and on with Les and Jason. I hated those two. D: But Drake was awesome. Billy Zane portrayed him great.
Ending: I cried at the final moments. What a great way to end Charmed.
Henry: Finally, Paige found her soulmate. D: I hated Richard and Kyle. Thank god they're gone....
Wyatt: Was soooo adorable, so was Chris.
The writing was great, but the only episode I dreaded was Vaya Con Leos. D: Too many Leos.
