Hey guys & welcome back to the newly revamped version of Shadow Tales. As you can tell by the new header, we've decided to spread the board's wings & make the board an all around supernatural experience.
Below you'll find a short explaination on all the changes that have been done.
THE FEATURED TALES:
All four of the main fan fictions have been merged into one category each with its seperate boards.
UNEARTHING SHADOWS - The Contests:
Two of the contests have been removed. For the time being Spotlighting & The Fan Fiction of the Month has been taken down until we can find time to handle it. The Fan Fiction of the month will most probably be added to the fan fiction section in future.
Our newly added section here is something you might remember from the Rebirth board. It's Relive the Magic. The idea was created by Ian so we thought since it wasn't used to it's full extent at Rebirth we'd continue with it but branch out to other supernatural series as well. We will alternate between different shows every month.
HALLOWED GROUND
This section has been moved out from the Fan Fiction board to become a category for all us writers. In The Underworld, all the writers can share writing tips & discuss anything prose. Let's just call it our little writing corner of the world.
The Book of Shadows is where all & any Charmed related fan fictions can be posted. May it be alternat or virtual seasons, spinoffs or short stories. But remember, you series may not stray away from the premise of Charmed.
The Outer Reaches as for non-Charmed related fics, meaning your fics can be about any other supernatural show or have the supernatural element.
In The Mortal Realm you may post any fic that doesn't have a supernatural theme. May it be comedy, drama, action, what ever your heart desires.
THE MAGIC BOX
This newly added category contains our new discussion board "Embrace The Supernatural". Here you'll find sub-boards of some of our favourite supernatural series. There you can basically discuss anything about the show & it's actors. You can also suggest other shows you want added for discussion.
The Offtopic boards (games, special events & off topic dicussion) have now been merged into one board: The Storage Room
We also have some new boards in mind that will be added sometime in February once we get everything sorted out. We're sure that you will all enjoy what we have planned.
SCHEMES
Our newest Shadow Tales scheme now features some of the supernatural series that call this board home now.
The Matriarch scheme & the Charlie scheme both have reworked headers & the Matriarch color scheme has been reworked as well. There is a new Piper centered scheme in the works thanks to Ian. It should be up soon.
The Alt. S2 schemes colors have been slightly modified.
As for some S9 schemes. Ian is definitely working on one at the moment so we hope to get it up soon for you all to enjoy. In the mean time give the first episode a read.
The Old Season 1 Power of Three scheme's header has been removed & replaced by the new Shadow Tales header. The PO3 header will most probably be revamped & given a new scheme when we relive "Something Wicca This Way Comes."
Not much has changed with the boards structure during the revamp, the only hack that has been added it to reorder the schemes in the drop down menu. The schemes have now been arranged according to board schemes & series schemes.
