SPOILERS follow - you have been warned!
As we all know, Madame Executive has an Agent observing the sisters and reporting their every move.
Now that we are 11 episodes in, I'm interested to hear who everyone thinks the Agent is. Their identity will be revealed in episode 2.13 "Hidden Secrets" but until then, I'd love to discuss everyone's theories!
Do you think you know who the Agent is? Have there been enough hints as to their identity? And if you do have a theory regarding who the Agent is, what has led you to this?
Alternately, is there a hint you have found that removes someone from the list of suspects?
Discuss away!

Tsk, tsk, Reyn, getting me to speculate wish so little subtelty! ;D Anyway I can't wait for the reveal! But like I've said (twice already I think, mwahaha :$), there are far too many hints pointing their filthy (JK) fingers at Ryan. My guess is it's Jackson. Cause there's that story with dear old Callia, the Devil's Daughter. We learn at the end of her episode that she has killed the three required victims. So she needed nothing from Jackson. OK, true, Ryan was there. But if he is a demon hunter, then he might just have been on Callia's tracks, and when he saw the sisters were on the case, he just backed off (while still kinda checking Prue out lol pun intended ). And so Jackson was just getting a little "tip" or something... gross lol There have been "mutual" hints in every episode about both Jackson and Ryan: They both entered the hidden room of Alchemy, they both gained access to the manor the day that M.E. discussed with her Suit, and they both are getting closer to the sister they either work with or date. Which might be why the reports of the Agent have become less detailed. We are all focused on Ryan because he basically is already in a relationship with Prue, so he would be the perfect mole, but what if Jackson's feelings for Piper were genuine and he really was falling for her? Then he'd doubt his "duties" as M.E.'s Agent... There is also that one sentence from Madame E, from which episode I don't remember (my brain's not flawless lol), when she tells the Suit to tell the Agent he needs to focus "on the sisterS he [the Agent] has less contact with", or something to that effect. Ryan's Prue's boyfriend, and he's Pheebs' teacher. So the only sister he has no regular contacts with is Piper, as is said in 2.08, I think. Piper alone doesn't qualify as "sisterS". But Jackson? He only has contacts with Piper, so that gives him 2 sisterS to have to get closer to... Then, I know that Jackson has played dumb with his so-called memory loss but he could really well have been really playing, and I do wonder why dear old Ryan would conceal himself from Leo at the auction Prue held in the GeoTech episode but I'm sure Madame E. wouldn't use someone she knew was known to the good guys; it'd be dumb. So Ryan is undoubtedly a supernatural being (you don't not freeze and tell me otherwise lol) but I don't think he's the Agent. So, I'm sticking to Jackson until (and if ) you prove me wrong in 2.13. Until then! mwahaha ;D Edit: Damn, that was long lol

I must admit, subtlety isn't my strong point As to your comments - very, very interesting! You have definitely picked up a lot of the hints dropped during each of the episodes (whether these are the 'correct' ones or the red herrings is another discussion!) and your speculating is certainly well thought out. Jackson and Ryan would both be good candidates as you have said, and Ryan has been more focused upon than Jackson (although this balances out in the latter half of the season). Given that Prue is starting to really care for Ryan, it would be heartbreaking for her if he was the Agent. However, Piper is starting to warm to Jackson, so if anything developed between them, it would also hit her quite hard too. Either way - whether the Agent is Jackson or Ryan (or someone else - Jess, anyone? Or maybe Candice - she was quite close to Phoebe, after all) the sisters are going to be hurt. The Agent's tasks have been pretty harmless so far, but expect that to change when Madame E gets closer to her endgame.

Whoa, I haven't commented here. Sin.
Alright, well, Charmy (between me and you, I suppose + Reyn) believe me, I was following these clues really closely as well, but I started venturing more into Madame E's clues as I wanted to know more about her before "Origins" and I did make a couple discoveries, I guess. Though I'm sure you might've caught the same one.
Reyn, you and your red herrings. See, you wouldn't hold our hands and lead us to the Agent as that would destroy your mystery you've worked so hard to build.
But... as you know I was pretty much convinced it was Ryan, but I've been thinking more and more about the latest clue of that document Ryan had. That was TOO obvious and as the point I just made, I believe it to be a red herring. So I think Jackson may be our Agent (as dissapointing as that would be as I had my money on Ryan) but I wanna know how Ryan got that damn scar, lol.

Whoa, I haven't commented here. Sin. -200 points for you, Sir! Unless my tactic is to draw attention to them simply to make you discount them, and therefore have the 'reveal' at the end all the more shocking! Reverse Psychology and all So - 2 votes to Jackson being the Agent, with Ryan just some interloper along for the ride? Maybe there are two Agents, and one's simply a 'sleeper!' Ryan's scar! Glad you remember it, as it is very important to his character. Might even have its own episode for some character backstory, if Ryan survives into the next season.

* kicks away a tumbleweed *
So - the Agent's identity has been revealed. Happy with the result? Wish it were someone else? Can't wait to see them 'get theirs'?

OMG! It's been so long since I've been to the BAM section and I was really glad to see that when I logged on there's been an update, which I will get to tonight. But for now, the agent... I've got to say that a part of me was a little disappointed that it was Jackson since I really wanted it to be Ryan. I know I kept wondering throughout it all but something inside of me knew that it would turn out to be Jackson as the agent and I guess I wanted to be proved wrong. Anyway, I don't want to see him 'get his' just quite yet, since I really like his whole storyline with Piper. I want to see that continue for a bit and would like to see Piper start to fall for him only to realise that he is evil. Anyway, I'm now going to read the new episode

Hopefully updates will occur more frequently now The upcoming episodes are ones I've been waiting to tell, so I'm spending a lot more time writing The turn-around between episodes is too long, though, so I'm hoping to release a few webisode-style scenes in between the breaks between episodes, which explore some important moments in characters lives. May I ask - why did you want the Agent to be Ryan? Was it anything to do with him as a character, or more because having him as the Agent would have been more surprising and more of an OMG! moment than having Jackson as the Agent (whom you already suspected was). Now that Jackson has been revealed, his backstory can be explored more - and of course his relationship with Piper. I quite like their budding romance, because it enables Jackson to be seen in two different ways - through Piper's eyes, and through his association with Madame E. Will Piper fall for him and then discover he is evil, leading to a confrontation between the two? Or will Jackson surprise her in the end? Someone does make the ultimate sacrifice in the season finale, after all.

I think I wanted it to turn out as Ryan for two reasons. One is the OMG! moment of it being him and not who I suspected for the most part, but another was because he comes across as all nice and caring towards Prue that for him to be evil would have been a complete 180 on his character and it would have been fun to read. However, with how Jackson is towards Piper, I think you can show that there too especially after reading the last episode so I'm going to wait and see how it all turns out.

I see what you mean, now. And I agree that it would have definitely been a turn-around for Ryan to be the Agent, because it is unexpected. Having said that, however - there's still one person who we've been introduced to who isn't who they appear to be, and who is hiding secrets. Their reveal should be good Hopefully the Jackson/Piper relationship lives up to expectations, then! I have a few good moments for them planned - theirs is a fun pairing to write. It's weird, because despite being a spy, Jackson is rather sweet. He just has a very unappealing personality trait that makes him very easy to manipulate.

So I was right Jackson was and is the Agent. I was quite happy to discover it, although I now wish even more I were able to tear his head off The clues I discovered were the right ones: Callia's three victims had been killed, so in the way were she intending to kill him! (I'll pass the other ones, this is the more revealing ) Now we have to wonder what's in store for him; and if he's even human at all...

Good pick up The only reason the third victim was mentioned at the end was to show that Callia had no reason to be with Jackson, because she'd already killed her three victims. Instead, she and Jackson were having a bit of fun on the side. The watcher watching the target a little too closely, I guess Is Jackson human? He is indeed He has no powers, he's as mortal as Darryl. As to what's in his future - he just might get what he's always wanted.

I guess being the Agent has its perks...
And so he's just human. Ew. What kind of human would get it on with a Snake on two legs *pukes*

Well, he may not have known about the 'snake' part Madame E would only have told him to watch her friend - she wouldn't necessarily have told him everything about Callia. And besides - once Callia had had her feed of the men - she's all woman. No snakey snakey for her anymore

Whatever do you mean, terry? My innocent ears do not understand your comments Jackson is quite the intriguing character, though. I'm looking forward to going into more detail about his past and his motives. I'm hoping by the end of the season, he'll be seen in a different light to the way in which he is seen now
