A passive race of magical beings, Shak'ta prefer to stay out of the affairs of mortals, content to live a solitary existence. However, their sense of duty is high, and if a mortal to whom they owe a debt requests their help, they may involve themselves in mortal matters.
Shak'ta possess the power to cancel out any magic directed towards them. How they do this is unknown.
