Fear/Dreams/Nightmares

[Temporal Death]

Another thing. Have any of you ever had a "premonition"-dream? Just dreaming something which happens the next morning or any other time after you dreamed it.

I'm no psychology student (not yet anyway), but that's deja vu. You believe you dreamt it or saw it before, but that's just your brain thinking too much. Or something like that.

But speaking of these, I did have a dream once, a silly one, where I do my morning routine up untill brushing my teeth, and it all rewinds, and then I wake up, and do the same thing. Did that make any sense? No? Alright.

Fears: Snakes (they terrify me). There was thing on TV about snakes, and I couldn't stand to look at them. I'm freaked out, whenever I see one. Ian, if I was face to face with a cobra, I would die before it gets the chance to kill me. Other animals that scare me, crocodiles, sharks, insects (not including flies ) ...

I'm not sure how to explain this, but I cringe whenever I see weird textures (no, not art textures ). They don't exactly scare me, but they disturb me for some reason.

I'm sometimes scared of heights. I'm super scared of the dark (I know ), mostly when I think of horror movies like Chucky, those masked freaks from The Strangers.

As for nightmares, I remember having one when I was younger about my mom being evil. She was on a horse, in front of a castle, it was raining + thunderbolts, and she was holding a weapon. I'm not sure if she was meant to be evil in the dream, though. And I'm always reminded by Mulan when I think of it. lol I have no idea why I had a dream where my mom was evil.

I've had dreams about this woman (she was my teacher, total wh*re. Hate. Her), she was in my house, and she wanted to hit me with something, so I go down under the dining table and start looking for her ala horror movies. Haha. It was quite scary for me.

And Brandon, do you mean having dreams where you're falling and you actually feel it at the same time you open your eyes? Cause' that has happened to me before. It's scares me like hell. lol

Yeah, that's definitely deja vu. I have tons of those. It's a weird feeling.

I know what they say (no I'm not singing...), but I've had real "premonitions" before. For instance, on night I dreamed that my uncle and his family, who we hadn't seen for like 5 years, visited. Next morning, guess who ringed the bell? And I know I dreamed it because I actually stayed in bed for a time pondering after I wake up.

Ok, I probably have the weirdest fear. And this is absolutely my greatest GREATEST fear. I mean it scares me just talking about it. Ok. You guys ready?

Pregnancy.

Yes. I am absolutely terrified to the depths of my soul that I am going to get pregnant. I guess I am just really not meant to be a mother, but the very thought of me becoming pregnant makes me shake and want to cry. Ugh.

Anyway, my more normal fear is heights. I can handle like being in planes and on tall buildings but if I'm on like a wall or standing on something tall I'd get freaked out. Anywhere I can fall off basically.

As for dreams, I have crazy crack-addict dreams. Imagine Alice in Wonderland meets Gossip Girl. That should just about paint a picture of what goes on in my head... Yeah....

One of my Big Fears is Water, i don't like swimming that much i rather be in the shallow end of the pool if i am swimming. I hate hot bath/showers. I always take a cold/Mild Warm Showers. The reason i fear water is because when i was little i got burned by Me spilling boiling hot water on my feet while my mom was cooking. :/

I fear little stuff as well like: Bottle Spray like Windex or Pledge, I also Fear large crowds.

My biggest fear is clowns. It's my own fault since I watched the first half of Stephen King's IT when I was about three and couldn't get the picture of that clown out of my head afterwards. It's gotten so bad that I went to Alton Towers for Scarefest - their biggest time of year since the theme park is all about a witch, they really go all out for a week at Halloween - there was a clown in one of the queues, and it was a scary clown, one that my boyfriend even said was scary. Anyway, I got so scared that I was in tears from this thing, it was then that my friends and boyfriend realised just how scared I was of the clown, they've never seen me that freaked out.

Mice, rats and pigeons freak me out a little but they just make me squirm. It really is just clowns that really scare me.

Oh, I just saw the post above me. Peacocks? Now that is hilarious. ;D Sorry, I know it's not nice to laugh at someone else's fear. Did one attack you at some point? Or is it just that they have an ungodly amount of feathers that can move? ... How do you feel about turkeys? Those things can get violent.

I think it's the moving feathers thing. I was never attacked, it just so freaking creepy. IT'S TOO MUCH FEATHERS!! AND THEY'RE UGLY! As for turkeys, yes, I have a phobia of turkeys as well. There was an incident a summer camp and a big forest...and a wild turkey... If it's big, has feathers and moves, I don't like it.
