The Covers are absolutely beautiful. I love the second one the best because they used the actually faces of Holly,Alyssa, and Rose. The graphic designer did some outstanding work i must say.

I like the second one better, too. Don't like the first one too much, but at least it's still easy to tell which sister is which. So Issue #0 is a prequel, huh? To... what? The entire series, or just the comic series? Hmm... Oh, and of course there will be a section for the comics when they start releasing, or at least get close. Us Charmed fans have kind of stalled in stuff to talk about since the show ended. To be able to discuss new, official, stuff from the Charmed universe? Can't pass that chance up. It's going to be fun.

Second cover is my favorite too. The first one is very good as well, it looks like it was based on a season 8 promo.

Both new covers look fantastic! I'm actually getting quite excited to get this now I wish the forums had a re-tweet button. lol But I will add some sort of discussion to this. I really like the first cover, mainly due to the fact that it was actually drawn, and that they look so on-model. However, I don't like how Phoebe and Paige look like touchy-feely lesbian-lovers, while Piper's stuck behind them (showing some major cleavage). With that said, the second cover would have to be my favorite. I don't exactly like that it's real pictures of the girls, since it's somewhat false advertising, but I really like what they did to the pictures. Very nice picture choices for both Holly and Rose. One of my least favorite pictures of Alyssa, though. Still, the colors and effects surrounding them, as well as the whole "coming out of the book" concept to this cover are what make me like it. Both are fantastic in their own way, I'm hoping that if they do release both covers, the alternate art will be available somewhere else, possibly inside, or on the back cover. I'd just be more comfortable having all forms of art from this project documented. Man, this is so exciting! ;D

So Issue #0 is a prequel, huh? To... what? The entire series, or just the comic series? Hmm... "This sourcebook serves as a prequel to the comic book series (...)" So I guess it's just the comics or they'd have mentioned "the whole series." Am I the only one who doesn't like the first cover? At all. I mean, they're back for the slutty picturing. It is a nice art in and of itself, but it is not a nice "Charmed" art. Piper with big boobs (they look bigger than Pheebs'!) and showing half of them to the world? Right. Man, I hope the story inside doesn't picture them like that. *sigh* I kinda like the second one, but why use an old picture of Piper? Other than that, the girls coming out of the Book, melikes So mixed feelings. Why is it that every time something good comes about the comics, something bad comes to temper my mood? Now my question is, is $1.95 the comic book's price or only the price for a copy of the artwork?

That first is indeed again the slutty picturing. I'm guessing they probably won't wear such clothes in the actual comics but rather only on covers. I can't imagine them drawing Piper in such a dress, showing so much cleavage while holding Wyatt or Chris in her arms.

Agreed. Though why dress them like that on the cover if they don't appear at least once in the comic book itself? Hopefully they'll have a good explanation for that one.

What? Are you saying that because they drew them like this on the cover, they'll draw them like this in the actual comics? I seriously doubt it. In the actual show, they never dressed them like they dressed them in their various photoshoots.
And to be honest, I like them both. The first looks really gothic and well yeah, sort of incest-y and the second is really amazing. And it doesn't bother me that they used an old picture of Piper. Oh, and how can there be two covers? Will it be like the Buffy comics where they use one as the cover and one as a sort-of insert?

Wow, I'm surprised that I didn't see the lesbian thing. Still don't, really.
I think that the first cover would be similar to any photoshoot they'd do, although I do like the second cover better. I think had they done the first cover in a Buffy-cover fashion, it would be much better received by you guys.

In the actual show, they never dressed them like they dressed them in their various photoshoots. A cover is hardly the same as a photoshoot. A cover, be it of a book or comic, is supposed to reflect a bit of what's inside because the cover is what will first draw you to it. Whenever they did a promo poster for an episode, the girls wore clothes from within the same episode, that's just... normal. Would you depict Hermione in one of those dresses, with just as much cleavage, for a HP comic? I doubt it, too. It's just physically out of character. I think that the first cover would be similar to any photoshoot they'd do, although I do like the second cover better. I think had they done the first cover in a Buffy-cover fashion, it would be much better received by you guys. Nope. They could change anything, as long as Piper's drawn as a slut, I won't like it. I don't mind their positions, it's just how Piper's drawn. Didn't say I wouldn't buy it, though.

Yes, Glenn it's obvious that there will be exceptions. And I don't really see why everyone is calling them sluts. Legs coming out of dress and skimpy top? Click me. Or maybe it's the cleavage that's bugging you? Click me again. Or maybe the touching? And again. So yes, enough with the slut-calling. The artist probably googled Charmed, and well these type of images were what he saw. Geez, he might had even tried to add a bit of class to them, with the classy dresses and all.

*snort* Who NEVER called or thought Phoebe was a slut? Now to make it clearer: THIS is what bothers me. This is totally fine with me. It's not like Phoebe has her hand up Paige's skirt. And Paige is less inhibited than Piper. As I said, the drawing in itself is quite a nice piece of art. It's part of the content that's the problem.

The covers are 'okay', and yeh I know that every other comic has females with massive boobs, but it's just not Piper. Holly Marie Combs does not have a big chest, so I don't think they should make her so...well endowed. Another thing is...why is Phoebe leaving Piper out? Surely, if she should favour one, it should be Piper? Having (briefly) read some other comments, I think they should maybe include her scar and tattoos, maybe the scar moreso, because although it wasn't mentioned in the series, it IS part of what Piper looked like. I think the scar should be there. I'm looking forward to this comic, but I really hope that they're not giving Piper a boob job. I'm saddened that they don't seem to be sticking with what we know and love... Oh and...I think Holly's gonna be miffed. Having read her comments about the Stuff cover, I don't think she'll be too please with the enhancement her cartoon self has received.

Quite honestly, I think they swapped Piper & Phoebe's bodies; that chest is more Alyssa! And the dress is definitely something more appropriate for Piper. It reminds me of her Goddess dress. Brad Kern isn't even involved, why are they still tramping up our girls?

Brad Kern isn't even involved, why are they still tramping up our girls? Quite honestly, it's not like their boob jobs are going to make a difference to the storyline, unless it's referenced. And I doubt you all would be making a noise about it had it been a bunch of shirtless guys there. Like it or not, the "Charmed Ones" have always been sexualized, and that image might/will stick with the comics. What I forgot to mention earlier, though, was that I had a problem with the way Piper's face was drawn in that first cover. Rose was instantly recognisable and Alyssa following soon after, which led me to infer that the one in purple was Piper.

Okay. Totally excited for a Charmed Comic, and the Issue #1 Cover looks amazing, but am I the only one who's getting a Desperate Housewives vibe from the Issue #0 Cover? The classy dresses: A recurring theme in DH Promos as far as I'm aware. Then, to me, Piper looks more like Teri Hatcher than she does Holly, Alyssa is resembling Marcia Cross, and Rose is the only one who looks exactly like herself, even though I find she looks a little like a white Eva Longoria. So, yeah, not too sure what to think about that cover, although the 'sluttyness' doesn't bother me at all.
