I got my results today! And....I passed! YES! I was angry at first because I didn't take a good grade, but who cares?! The important thing is, I passed.

Congrats on your exams, Manar! I know the feeling of finally completing your exams as you finally get it over with. Such a good feeling! So, I'm going to try and make a comeback with ST. I know I haven't been on as recently as I used to. But I think I'm getting my Charmed inspiration back. So I'm going to be doing so much reading and reviewing. Hope I can come back strong! So what's up with everybody else? What the 411? What's everybody talking about?! LOL sorry bout that...

It has been pretty active here recently, it's quite nice. I am up to nothing really, summer is quite boring and I hate to say it but I kind of miss school? Aghh, shoot me! Haha, well I think I might be recording some of my music soon so if anyone is interested in hearing some singer-songwriter acoustic stuff PM me Haha Anyone else got news?

Okay. God I love you girls, you keep me young. LOL
oh no. I thought no one would notice where I got that. funny scene.
And you are not alone with missing school. I miss my friends so much, I wanna see them. And I'll admit, I miss some of my teachers. But it seems too boring in the summer right now. but for school, nothing really happens twice. You're always expecting something new from both the teachers and students. So yeah, I can get where your coming from.
As for your music, that's pretty awesome! You recording music like that. You can get so much inspiration from anywhere. that's what I love about music. About experiences, feelings, emotions. That's really cool.
I just finished watching the Friends pilot. It was so frickin funny. I'm pretty sure it was the pilot. Rachel as all stuck up and bugie (pronounced bu-jshee). And practically no one knew each other.
So...yeah...

Haha, what the hell is bugie?
I love the friends pilot, it's so funny. It is especially funny how ridiculous all their hair is. They all look so 90's, which is fair enough but still.
I knew the minute I saw that episode I would always hate Ross. He's such a douche.
Yeah, music is pretty good. The recording is going to be hard though cos I have a little set up in my room but I only have one mic now so I have to record the vocals and guitar separately which sucks cos getting the timing perfect is so annoying.

Yes! Another person who hates Ross! Whoo! ;D I hate his character soooo much. *sigh* Wish Rachel and Joey had stayed together. They were so cute. *cough* Anyway, Karla, that's awesome about your music. I perform and record, but have never put any of it online. If you put it on youtube or something, you should put the links up here. I'm sure we'd all love to hear your music.

Ha, I don't know if I would have the courage to put it online. I might though, someday. Do you sing or play Nerf? Or both? What do you play? I am so intrigued I haven't met many musicians on Charmed boards.

I sing. I don't really play anything. Have been teaching myself some songs on the piano, but I don't play it play it.... play it. I used to not want anything to do with music, I wanted to be a writer. I didn't want to follow in my parents' foot steps. They are both heavily involved in music, with several bands, and my dad teaches guitar and owns a recording studio and independent record label. I wasn't really into music and didn't even really listen to it. Somehow that changed. Now I can't live without music and I looooove to sing. I want to make a career out of it, but I don't have much confidence in myself. :/ And I'm not the only other musician/singer here. Harrison likes to sing and is in show choir, and Rhod sings and is involved at several things in his school, too. So we have quite a few music peeps. ;D Maybe even some we don't know about... Dun dun dunnnnn.

Haha.
I can not believe your dad owns an independent label. That is so freaking cool. What's it called? If my parents owned a studio I would be in it all day long.
I can not live without music, it is just way to big a part of my life. I used to want to be a writer too, and I still kind of do but I am a lot more passionate about music than writing.

Damn! Your father owns a record company? Hopes he does well with that. I'm not sure if I have that great a singing voice. I guess puberty messed up my voice.
But Nerf, when you say you were focused on writing, did you mean writing as in music, or as in literature?
BTW : Bugie (not sure if I spelled it right or not) usually means really rich and stuck up but you wear really nice clothes and you have a rich attitude. something like that. LOL And yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Ross at this moment.

Nerf, your dad owns a record company? That's awesome. I hope everything's going well. I think it's great that you sing. I'd love to hear your voice. I love to sing (even though my voice sounds like a dying angel, haha). I, too can't live without music. I have to listen to it everyday, although there are some days I don't, for some reason... I always knew that Karla had musical talent(s). I think it's awesome. I bet you're very talented. You should post it on the internet sometime. You, too, Nerf. Karla, you write songs, don't you? I'd love to see them sometime, too. It would be so cool. You guys are speaking about Friends? I love it so much. I bought the (pirated) DVDs, from S1 through 10. I started watching it right from the beginning today. I can't wait to see some more. It so weird seeing them with their hair and looks and stuff. Oh, and I agree with you about Ross. I don't hate him, but I'm not a HUGE fan. He's funny, sometimes very funny. Friends is just genius, the best sitcom ever made. I could never say best series, Desperate Housewives is in that spot. Haha. Back to music, I've been listening to Lady GaGa and she rocks! I love that Lady. Haha. She's so awesome. One of my favourite singers now. Her songs are brilliant. And her name is very original and unique. I can't to listen to her next album, if she ever records one. I'm pretty sure she will, though. Oh, Astral, thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it.

Thanks Manar I might post my lyrics or something in the writing section? If I am allowed to do that. I got the entire Friends boxset for Christmas last year. I absolutely love it. I can never get tired of Friends. As far as music goes, I have been listening a lot to an Irish singer-songwriter called Wallis Bird. She is really talented. Other than that, anyone heard the new Paramore song? I think it is super super wicked. It's kind of badass, more so than their other stuff. Oh, Manar, I saw Lady Gaga live at Oxegen. She was amazing! Anyone else hear the rumour that she is a hermaphrodite? It's so funny.

You're so lucky! You saw her live! Ahhh. Haha. How was Katy Perry? Oh, and I didn't hear that rumor. Hermaphrodite means that she has both female and male characteristics, right? (escuse my stupidity, lol.) As for the Paramore song, I have heard the beginning but closed it because it was live on Youtube. Did I ever mention to you that I LOVE Paramore. They're awesome. I'm gonna listen to "Brighter" now.

Katy Perry was utterly amazing. She was so good with the crowd, so cute and adorable and she just plain kicked butt on the stage Her voice sounded great as well.
Yeah, I really like Paramore too. I'm really getting into them now. Hayley just has an outstanding voice and I love their lyrics.

I'm back. Much earlier than planned, yes. Well, things went... kinda bad. My sister and I drove to the reunion in one car and my parents drove in another. Just as my parents were pulling up to the cabin the reunion was at... their car broke down. Thank goodness it was right there and not on the side of the highway somewhere during the 5 hour trip. Mom just had the car in to the dealer a few days ago to get something replaced and it cost a lot of money. Well it seems they didn't tighten everything right or something, so.... yeah. Badness. They will be paying for this, since it is their fault. If they don't, there will be hell to pay.
Anyway, no mechanic can work on the car until Monday. But mom and dad both had to be back last night since they each had different church bands to lead. So my sister and I nixed the Chicago trip and we all came back in the car she and I had driven. I find it interesting... I was supposed to go to Chicago last weekend, but it got pushed to this weekend. If I had gone then, then for this we all would have ridden in one car. Then we would have all been stranded. Crazy.
So the broken car is still back there, waiting to be fixed. Once it is, mom and I will have to go pick it up. Going there and coming back... eight hours straight in a car. Blagh!
*sigh* Anyway, I'm back.

Just thought I'd swing by to say that I'm back earlier than I thought I would be from Colorado. I had the most amazing time and working with the US Air Force and seeing all the differences in training was a wonderful experience.

Ian, I'm so sorry your trip didn't go as planned, and even more sorry that the bad news seems to just keep coming. I hope there's some kind of silver lining in all this?

Harrison is in show choir? *bursts out laughing and falls on the floor* For some reason, I just can't see that from "baseball all the time" guy. Don't worry, Harrison, I still love you... Nerf, that's really cool that your dad has an independent label and recording studio. It's a great way for you to be creative. I like to write music and sing, but I don't think I can sing. Haha! I used to be in show choir and have no idea how I got in. Nerf, that really sucks about your trip. I hope the upside comes soon.

I hate singing, and can't sing. I used to like it when I was five or six, especially Elvis Presley. Nerf, that sucks. Lexi, cool! Well yesterday, I arrived back in Italy, and the night before I didn't sleep, (not a bit) and I wasn't really that tired. And when I finally went to sleep yesterday, at around 12:00, I slept like a baby and this morning I woke up at 1:40. Yeah, I'm new at CCT&T

Ian, I'm so sorry your trip didn't go as planned, and even more sorry that the bad news seems to just keep coming. I hope there's some kind of silver lining in all this? Thanks. The silver lining is that we are all safe and that everything actually went as well as it could have. With all the possibilities for disaster, things happened in a way that made it not really that bad. My parents could have gotten stuck on the highway in the middle of nowhere with no phone service. Instead the car didn't break down until they pulled up in front of the cabin we were staying at. I might have gone to Chicago the week before and then we would have all been in the same car, so we all would have been stranded. It all worked out. Yesterday mom and I made the 9 hour round trip to pick up the car that had been fixed. The ride there was fun. I read this book outloud, which I wasn't expecting to be as good as it is. It's called, "A Year of Living Biblically." It's by A.J. Jacobs and he decided to live by all the rules of the Bible, as literally as possible, for a whole year. I'm not really into Christianity, or any religion, but I find it really interesting and my mom and I are both loving it. The car is a really funny writer and just some of the rules he has to abide by are crazy. But it's a great discussion book, too. Mom and I kept getting into conversations about all sorts of things because of it. And she is religious, so she knows a lot of stuff about the bible, so she was able to explain some things that I didn't get. Anyway, great book, can't wait to read more of it. And I recommend it to everyone. Anyway. So the trip there was fun. The trip back... blah. We were each in our own car then. I listened to music most of the way home. I usually love driving alone, singing with my music. But this time it was such a long trip. I had never driven that far on my own before and my back and other muscles really started to hurt. Plus I had barely eaten, since I felt kinda sick at lunch, and had had only one sip of water all day. But I got Jimmy Johns when I got back to town. Yum! ;D Then watched a guy ALMOST win a million dollars on Millionaire. I'm really thinking the producers told him to walk one question before. He was down to 2 questions with three lifelines. Hadn't used any lifelines until he was at 3 questions. Then he blows the rest on one question and decides to walk. I don't buy it. Could be true, but... eh. Could easily be rigged. Then, even though I had only gotten 3 hours of sleep the night before, I stayed up really late. Played some God of War. Anyone else play that game? It can be really frustrating, but just because it's challenging. So it's fun. Once I'm done I might look into getting the second game. Okay, I've rambled too long. One question. Does anyone know of a way I can safely clean my computer screen? It's got ugly smudges all over it. I cleaned it once before with this one product, but I don't remember what it was. Anyone know of a product I can use that won't potentially hurt my computer?
