How Many Boards...

This should be fun to know, how many boards are you registered on, what's the name of the board & why did you decide to become a member there?

Mine are:

Charmed-Net: This is the first board I registered on but I wasn't active there at all. I can't imagine not being a part of this community, I spend a lot of time on the board & even though there are some bad times there, we're all a family & families fight so one just shrugs it off. We can't say it hasn't been entertaining.

Rebirth: Before Rebirth, I was a member on Prophecy which was my first active board where I posted my fics but I lost interest there as the community wasn't that great so I moved on to C-Net & made some of the greatest pals there. I registered on rebirth after C:tP closed just to see what these members would make of the board.

Shadow Tales: This obviously needs no explaination.

There are so many boards I've been registered on though. *sigh* lol

C-Net and ST are the ones I'm most active on, though, because they're great, is all.

I also have my own board, Charmed Goes On which is kinda a French version of Shadow Tales, where I post the fics I translate So, if French-speakers read this ... lol

I go to Rebirth once in a while too but somehow there's something preventing me to post there lol

The Charmed Boards I am a member of are:

Charmed-Net: The first fan board I ever joined. I joined during my total obsession stage with Charmed back in 2006. I have loved the board but left it for about 6 months but I'm back on it nearly every day. Made some great friends there. A great community.

Shadow Tales: Don't need an explanation really. Was told about the site by some members on Cnet and decided to join.

Charmed Network: A new forum made by Jake, Aby and myself. It's kind of a Charmed Fan-Fiction dedicated forum. Just where we can post updates and have Role Playing, Fan-fictions, non-charmed stories and alot of stuff.

Shadow Tales: Well cause it is a cool site, no need to say more.

Charmed-Net: Cause I saw Rory's videos about her fics and I joined and started writing because of Rory and Phoenixlighter. So all thanks to them!

Worlds of Disney: Well this is my own RPG site where you can be any Disney character you like acting like you are a guest at Disneyland. It is really fun. It has lasted for almost a year! (August making it). And...yeah I love it.

Buffy: The Final Chapter: Because of me liking Buffy so much. It is also a fun site, one where you interact like you are in the Buffy-verse.

Charmed: Good VS Evil: A site I recently joined because it is Charmed and I have a character there who is a witch and such.

RP's are fun, and they help you also expand as a writer.

The first one I joined was The Charmed Cafe back when it was an ezBoard. I joined that one during the summer between S4 & S5. I'd read about it at TheWB's site, so that's why I joined.

After a year, a new bunch of people took over the Cafe (long gone now, thank God!), about the time that the Cafe switched over to proBoards. I liked ezBoard, so I followed some fellow friends over to Charmed's Designation, where they were having a game called The Demon Hunt. They had 5 Hunts and I was part of 4 of them. They're starting something called the Triquetrathons now.

About a year after that, I started up my own fanfiction board, "Es' Library of Charmed" as a supplemental board to Charmed's Designation. Later, a friend took it over, turning it into "The Library of Charmed" while I started a new one called "Charmed & Complete" for completed Charmed fics, done in a different format and a third friend started one called Garden of Charmed, so we had the Power of Three Fanfiction boards. (LoC was sorted by categories; GoC was sorted by authors and C&C was sorted by characters.) That only lasted a couple of months but was fun while it did.

Later a new person took over CD (also now gone) and four of my friends had problems with her so they started up their own board, Four Times the Charm, my message board home.

This takes us up to when Charmed ended. Around that time I came back to the Cafe where I spend a lot of my time. Through that I became part of two different Virtual Series board: Charmed: Reality Reset and Destined: The Charmed Sons. Both helped me very simply not miss Charmed, because both were so much better than what had been thrown at us during S7 & S8. And what's here is even better than those!

While at the Cafe, I met and became friends with Primrose_Empath. A couple months ago we came up with the idea of starting our own Fanfiction/RPG board to supplement the Cafe. That's ALTERNATE CHARMED: All the Possibilities, done in a format similar to Charmed & Complete, but in author order like The Garden of Charmed. For its launch this gal from Minneapolis, MN and that gal from Indianapolis, IN got together in Chicago, IL and launched it together!

A couple of weeks ago I saw Matriarch's ad for Shadow Tales. Of course, the rest is history!

There's others that I've been part of for short period of times, but these are the ones where I've spend the most time.

Well here comes a long story..

I started with my own board called Charmedfanforum
It was a dutch board with more then 150 members. But after a little fight between me and an moderator they left and I was alone so i made it my backup board after 3 years.. ( it still is..)

Then I joined charmed-ones.nl that was a great dutch charmed board that every dutch charmed fan loved. Then there was a fight between a friend of mine and the admin and they put them of his website and well there were not nice to eachother. So i took of and after 2 months they locked the board and bye bye charmed - ones.nl..

Then i got hocked up at my own board. The World Of was the first name i got for it. I had a great admin who is sort of gone since she never comes anymore again and i sort of get the idea she hates me. I changed the name of my board to The World of Magic after i launged my own Website!

My websites gets now over a 1000 of people visiting it! And i still look for more advertings for on the website as linkpartner of my board.

I have also my own rpg board called : xOxP3's LifexOx
And my Season 9 board since a month called Charmed Season 9!

I'm a member of more then 25 boards so that list will be to long to post!

Charmed-Net: I joined during my time on Charmed: the Prophecy, but I sort of migrated there when C;tP closed last year. I like it over there, it's a nice community and I've been the judge on Designer Elimination recently.

Charmed-Boards: This is my home on the net, I've been a member on the boards for four-ish years now and we have a great community over there and although I don't think many people from the Charmed-Net community are over there we have our own online group where we all know each other pretty well.

Rebirth: It's one of the smaller boards I'm part of, but it's a place to keep up with everyone from C;tP and Alex and Nerf are doing a great job maintaining the boards.

Shadow Tales: Obviously, Rory tempted me here with Matriarch, but I hope to share my own fanfiction over here some day.

MZP: I joined to keep up with the developments of Harry's virtual series (check him out with his fancy series) The Family Spell, which is premiering in September. I haven't really become active there yet, but I want to, there's a lot of talent over there.

Doctor Who Online: Just to keep up to date with Doctor Who, it's not one of my favourite forums but it's a good place to find fan discussion and what-not.

Ones I'm not really active on...

Seek-the-Truth: A Supernatural board which I joined when it first opened, but I don;t really go there any more because it's not really very active and I'm not the world's biggest SPN fan.

The-Afterlife: I'm not really active on here either, I joined fairly early on in the boards run and I became a moderator, but it's too quite for my liking, hardly anything goes on there so I usually forgett to log on very often.
